eh, i like it without, but i like the trucks heritage more. so ill probly wait til i paint her (rattle can) and then put them back but thanks for the offer -
shouldnt matter what height the springs are at... allt hat would affect is axle position l/r as compared to the body, and the steering wheel would be off. the tires are still mounting to the same thing, just at a higher level.

mine? they sound fine, but if you're lookin for pro quality audio idk if a manche is the place for it ;) i usually can't hear much with the radio off :brows: I'm looking for more sound out of mine. The 12" behind the passenger seat hits hard, but I want a second one behind the driver seat, so just my front set of 6x9s isn't gonna be enough. I've got crystal clear sound now, I just need more volume. thats all i have is the 2 behind the buckets, sounds great. nice volume too, never would want to turn the stereo above 26/35 but I'm not sure how it would be if you have a bench, that might block more sound. sounds like from the way you worded that you have buckets too in which case i say go for it. EDIT: in the back of this volvo (bro's first car) yuo can see the 6x9s I'm talking about, the two little grey boxes to each side. and here one is up close with the remote tweeter removed.

unit bearings or bent axle? to check the unit bearings just jack a wheel off the ground, and wiggle it top to bottom to see if there is any play. there shouldnt be any. i dnot remember how to check balljoints

so when one cycles the steering stop-stop with the cap off ? am i correct that this is done with the cap off? and I'm assuming since the cap is off the truck is off too?

new pics, new tires, new not effed header panel and lights :brows: -
... do i remember correctly that some year grand or maybe libbie brakes could work on a D30? you'd have to run a 16" rim though idk, check around on places like jeepin.com they should be write ups
-
if they are both LP i think it should be alright, check the parts numbers at some gear places online.

not to be a fool, but.....how do electrical conectors leak fuel?? he's refering to the renix injectors split body. They like to seperate in the middle, between the electrical connector and the nozzle, and leak fuel from the body of the injector itself. thanks 87, sorry jackel, didnt even think to specify what i meant. youre sittin there like... MY elec connectors don't spew fuel... this kids a mooooronnn hahah. sorry bout that :chillin:
-
you sure its not the electrical connectors? they like to leak fuel once they get old. both mine and my brothers 4.0s did this
-
If it is a NP435.. can you say granny gear  i think he's talking stock, as in AX4 in which case i agree w/ jeepco

i hate you. you got a manche with 90k mi free, AND a set of D44/9" FREE some people have all the friends. sounds like a sick project man, looks good with just the improvements you've made already!
-
see the problem with that manche is... the motor is currently powering that trail-rig XJ that my brother flipped a week after the motor swap... you prolly remember those pics? ;)
-
nice clean MJ man, i like it
-
i have two audiobahn 200w RMS 6x9s in single boxes in the floor behind the seats... sounds fine. just little 6x9 carpeted speakerboxes
-

-
alot of big postin/knowedgeable new guys have popped up in the last month or so that i've noticed. the more the merrier!

you could try it, i would be more worried about the amount of air it pulls than the size, if it pulls enough air I'm sure you could MAKE it fit i know a volvo 960 fan will keep a 4.0 cool too.
