  1. my brother just bought a brand new (24miles on it) tacoma pre-runner 5spd 4cyl with SR5 option package for 16something its nice on gas, usually around 24mpg but thats mainly highway.. the mileage has been rising steadily as the engine gets broken in nevermind, you don't want a truck. try a late to mid 90s bmw... theyre definaetly classy... don't know about easy to work on though :roll:
  2. thats not ATL gangsta... thats straight redneck.. the rednecks down here (in ATL) kinda get mixed up with the ghetto kids alot, so you end up with stuff like this... its usually an avalanche or something though, not a CJ7... the mossy oak camo job is pretty sweet though on the CJ
  3. isnt putting a bottle jack between the axle and frame just going to force the CA's to do something they can't do? the axle should droop all the way on its own right?

  6. i've always heard ditch the trac-bar that comes with their kit... but the springs are good. a long time ago they had bad rep for their springs but have since changed suppliers.

  8. different lb/hr rates... IIRC the HO uses a 21# and the renix (i know) uses a 19# (ford 5-0 injectors are a direct swap for renix engines) but just cause its from a 5-0 doesnt mean itll improve performance, it just particalizes (sp?) the fuel better due to a 4-hole spray rather than the 1-hole stock.

  11. mine has a 97 motor (advanced timing on the cam so no they could delete the EGR) and no EGR... but i didnt pass sniffer test so don't ask me haha

  16. bad-@$$. lol idk how itll fit, my trucks been wrecked fornt end (two times i think) and the header panel i got had been through a fender bender so mine doesnt line up EXACTLY but its not to bad. but you like things to be 'right' so i figured i'd mention it
  17. ill agree with that man, all the different forms of verb endings are a PITA, but then again english has MANY MANY words that mean completely different htings than each other yet are the same word.

  21. painting it would cost all of 40 bucks so I'm not worried about that... plus i just got new tires cause the old ones were about to cause (another) wreck so i can't lift it yet (they were a graduation present i can't just get rid of them) this is being put on hold i suppose for now because i just threw down 200 bucks on a running XJ that is STRICTLY for parts (went in with my bro and another guy) so I'm getting AW4/np231/shifting stuff/w/e i need out of that. but i still wanna hear opinions!
  22. with the D35? try a FULL explorer leaf pack (no MJ leafs at all) for a ~1" drop, and XJ shackles for another inch or so. that should net 3" if you get the right leaf packs. alot of people don't like the XJ shackle idea because it reduces spring travel since its shorter than factory.
  23. the 4.0 actually LOVES the cheapie champions. better than the platinum ones. just make sure to gap them
  24. i was wondering how many other people locked wrench-ends to get more leverage... i thought that was a shade-tree southern thing ;)
  25. 10w30 in mine, brother runs UP TO 20w50 in his to get his oil pressure to rise a little bit (really bad oil pressure.)
