  1. dakota ones don't fit either :hateputers:
  2. is that in association with the "operation" comment? cause buying an s10 would just about = having your balls removed :D
  3. that was our guess was it was the ECU temp sensor... my other sensor is actually at the thermostat housing ;) 97into89 thing. gets annoying sometimes.
  4. when my alternator died it was associated with whining noises and the bearing was REALLY pissed off by the way it sounded. and jeeps take forever to start, if you turn the key two clicks you should hear the fuel pump prime, then crank it, i doubt it's fuel delivery that makes it take a while to crank, the CPS should be replaced if it takes more than a few seconds
  5. haha, not unless you built that piece
  6. i think i know whats goin on, but if you're not mentionin it, then I'm not bringin it up either. my stepbrother says its really not that bad. so don't worry bout it
  7. i got a laptop from my grandparents and a set of 235/75s from dad... old ones were dryrot and downright scary  slid to a stop most of the time
  8. and this brings our discussions to a heavier note "is sterilization a viable method of ridding the world of retards?"
  9. i've heard they break easy
  10. we did that to my stepbrothers '76 nova interior, went from olive green to black covers REALLY nicely
  11. how in the $(&^@ did you do THAT?! the output shaft snapped completely in 2 daaamn. usually you stretch out the chain or something before that!
  12. i've got two sensors here both on the drivers side of the block, presumably one is the knock sensor, the other?? EDIT: these pics are upside down sorry. stuffed the cam down in there sideways  this is the 97 motor that was swapped in before my time so it could be anything.
  13. in order for it to shift on its own in regular mode it needs all those linkages and stuff though, i plan on running the arcade style up/downshift and doing it manually all the time
  14. the thread is from 05 so i don't think he's hosting the files anymore is why the photos don't work
  15. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53767&page=1
  16. i'm starting this swap soon, sometime this summer. if you're just shifting via brett m's shifter (http://www.awshifting.com) you won't need the kickdown cable, tps, or any of that stuff. just the shifter and tranny lines
  17. ooh pretty.
  18. most people forget the incidents leading up to their 3rd head trauma :nanner:
  19. uh, I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this but 6.5 inches on short-arms is NOT pleasant. trust me.
  20. hahahaha we did that on some taco-bell trays in my friends mom's scion box. what is it the tc? idk, it was pretty fun. spinnin around like you're on glass :brows: little scion has NO pickup- but you can throw it into a corner and not lose control... its ridiculous how well it corners.
  21. the RE kit is actually 5.5" springs and .75" spacers so that'd be a 6.25" kit for the price i've not been able to beat it... i pieced together all kinds of parts from different manufacturers, even omitted some items, and got some used prices... and still ended up at like 1300 for the RE kit, and thats without things like the t-case drop and coilspacers. you really can't beat the price for what you get there buut it doesnt come with shocks
  22. You'd better find some other reports to read. Unless this was talking about AR-15 ammo (.223/5.56mm), it's totally off base. Whoever wrote that must have been dining on some VERY powerful mushrooms. In fact, unless you hit just right there's an excellent chance that a .22 to the head will bounce right off rather than penetrate the skull. Unless it's all you've got and all you CAN get, don't even think of a .22 plinking pistol as a self-defense "weapon." It ain't. colt 45. my ex-stepdad had one, thing would kick! now THATS a weapon.
