    Fresh Paint

DAMN! what'd you use to paint her!??!! that looks AMAZING
  5. what he meant was NO you don't need a SYE but you may need a slightly longer D/S unless you're swappin to a D44 at the same time, cause they have longer pinions like he said, if you get vibes then try a t-case drop or re-checking the pinion angle
  6. a turtle !?!?! poor thing. turtles are so nice! they good eatin?
  7. i used to have a 3-core modine radiator (1-800-radiator) drop shipped to my door for 160 IIRC mornin after i called. kept the 4.0 nice and cool... til i put the clutch-fan through it in a rear-end accident
  8. yeah that kit's a good option two quick points on it though 1) bolt on rear SOA doesnt work with 44 yet only the d35 2)you will NEED CAs and it doesnt come with tem
  9. the real question is wth are they doing to your comanche? why've they had it for over ayear?!?
  10. the deal with new bushings i've heard the thing to do is freeze them in the freezer over night
  11. ill take a copy man... sounds like good stuff
  12. you have to lift it too or the front axle will eat the oil pan i think 3" is the right height. i searched around on NAXJA for ya, didnt see muich about cooling systems.
  13. woah man, caps lock OFF please  welcome to the club  :needpics:
  14. honestly, for the stuff included in the RE kit, i tried to price it up as cheap as i possibly could and i couldnt even get NEAR the same price and thats without things like the t-case drop... that kit is a really good value. maybe buy the Rocky-road kit (http://www.rocky-road.com) with the bolt on SOA stuff, then you need to buy CAs so you could just go with adj the first time. that would be the cheapest way probably
  15. you'll be needing pics up in the pub: introduce your comanche thread. or you will be beated... mercilessly. :brows: welcome to the club man! i bet that 01 XJ is niice.
  16. this is i think the way CW was saying they should be mounted... straight off the RE instructions 11. Install the lower control arms with the rubber bushing at the frame (use factory bolt at this end, and don’t fully tighten until vehicle is back on the ground). The super-flex assembly bolts to axle bracket with supplied hardware. The offset tube is to be located as low as possible, with zerk fitting on top (SEE PHOTO 1). 12. Install the new upper control arms using supplied hardware at axle end and factory bolt at frame end (don’t fully tighten until vehicle is back on the ground).
  17. the new non-adjustable control arms that would come with a 4.5" RE kit would be the correct length for that height so they shouldnt change the axle position at all. no reason to sell/trade to adjustable ones unless you were planning on going larger or shorter than 4.5" since these arms are made for that height. that said, my brother runs a RE superflex 4.5 XJ kit on his XJ and we added 2" coilspacers and didnt change the non-adj arms at all and it hasnt caused an issue yet. whats the problem with the RE MJ kit? to high?
  18. they appear to be mounted right, bushing at the axle end, superflex joint at the frame I'm 98% sure is how my brothers are too.
  19. idk what its doin up north, but it needs to rain HARDCORE down south. those damned south ga wildfires are killer, the smoke blows all the way up here (atl area) every mornin, its got to be out of control. air quality is pure $#!T
  20. that would be a nice point of it. i know my truck is a bear to slow/stop when the engine cuts off.
  21. SOA out back should net ~5" over whatever you have now height of tubes+height of leafperch+height of old leaf perch= your lift from SOA
  22. you talkin about a brake booster?
  23. my center console (swapped in a full one) BARELY fits between the seats... i think they're to far inboard? not sure... like i said, i bought it after the swap
