only problem i've noticed before (got a XJ out front runnin 6-6.5" short-arms)
is more handling on the road... never hit the shock mounts before that i know of..
damn man! nice rig... you're right about the wheelbase lookin super long... bet you were enjoyin the departure angle when you went down the drop off that bronco (?) was havin trouble with.
looked like fun, where-at in WV? I'm origionally from hunington
i bet the price goes up from 399 for MJ sliders... keep in mind, our frame bends outwards for the rear portion meaning that sliders for our trucks use ALL differend leg lengths and angles.
ill take a couple of both pete, you should have my addy if not let me know and ill send it to you again... probly mail along a couple bucks as well
late one night in the poorin rain i did the same thing, cut the back end out and swung it all the way back around the other way 180 in the middle of a 2ln rd with a turn lane in the middle and ended up parked the opposite direction i was heading at the stoplight... eesh
you're not actually losing fluid then? my bet's the master cyl
mine went out like 3 weeks after i bought the truck it just all the sudden didnt work, randomly i'd have to pump it to get it in gear then itd be fine then one mornin, nothin at all
like a 20-40$ part and maybe 2 hrs.
its cool, haha, you got 6.5" over a 2wd manche though!
i just ran out to check just to know but my manche's stock 4x4 sits at ~18.5 front and ~20.25" rear center to flare
oh ok, i wasnt thinkin bout weight but yeah we're on the same page now.
the difference is in stick-auto... the torque converter multiplies output by 2 iirc, so you don tneed as deep of gears, stick go as deep as possible!
The thermometer come from a mid-80's Mercedes 300E. Had wasted space below the clock, so put it to good use.
