  1. whats the difference? i always wanted one of those... i think after my lift kit I'm gonna save up for one. any tips?
  2. where the  do you buy those..?
  3. ... ............ cheers to not ACTUALLY wanting to sell... hahaha. maybe if he's lucky, some schmucks rich dad will buy it for them. so they can take that when it snows and leave the beemer in the garage.
  4. so lift it, find an RTI ramp, and measure how long it needs to be for the extended side, and how short for the compressed side then? (I'm assuming a forklift would work as well :brows: )
  5. my brother ran 33's with 3.55s and auto for a little over a year and it wasnt that bad. slow, but that's to be expected... and this is A TIRED 4.0, you can turn it over by pulling on the serpentine
  6. how does one know which shock to buy for their truck? (plannin on 6" lift)
  7. RE... just don't get the heim end one. the track-bar and the bracket are 180 and 80, for the bar, and brace. and the superflex joint end of the bar is rebuildable if it ever fails and much stronger than a heim joint.
  8. so it DOES start? or you didnt try it? sucks. thats some crazy rapids man!
  9. whatever you get make sure to get extended brakelines, trackbar, and control arms. at least lowers if not uppers too. and shocks
  10. you mean the 2.8? v6?
  11. i am so not moving north... i thought it would be cool... but i'd have to re-do half the mods ive done hahaha.. and we'd actualyl have to paint things and let them dry and re-paint them before we put em on... ugh
  12. you might check the online stores.. rustys probably stocks them, (can't screw up that can you?) and rubicon express has them as well... unless their kits don't replace those? but that would be odd.
  13. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/233478 don't forget to check cardomain and places like that too. usually people that took the time ot make a webpage dedicated to their truck, probably changed the oil and stuff as well. well sometimes. that one's pretty clean though

    Jeep rescue.

i don't wanna hear the whining. it was 65 here christmas eve, and 45 christmas day only cause it was drizzling half the day. january better bring another anual ice storm. (no hope in wishing for snow, ice is all we get ) EDIT: btw, love that YJ... nice alpine white is it? idk i love it though. YJs are third place (MJ, XJ, YJ)
  15. i LOVE those connectors
  16. moms 95 has a soundbar overhead... it wasnt a 97 change
  17. depends on where the rust is. if the "frame-rails" are rusty, and holy and useless. then its not worht it. though it does have QUITE a few useful parts. fenders, rockers, floors can be replaced.... frame-rails cannot.

    Hey Pete

what? spraypaint gettin to expensive for ya nowadays? :D
  19. good question
  20. PETE@!@^^!@ oh no!! my brother/mom bought me a truckbox for christmas and it covers my mancheclub 12" decal!   any way i could get a new one?
  21. well, seeing as my brother lives in a 3rd floor shared appt, and i live at home with mom, we have nowhere to store stuff cept for in his jeep or mine. so his jeep is basically a rolling fullsize tool box. (his front diff actually froze up on the road one night and he stopped at his work and had everything required to do remove the inner axleshafts on him. though he did ruin a workshirt  ) and i pack all the extra shafts and such from storage, and tires and such large items in my truck. we usually have everything, short of an engine lift. and kitchen sink.
  22. thats sooorta what the projects section was supposed to be... i think? there's ALOT of write-ups on http://www.jeepin.com http://www.madxj.com and http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/index.htm but you're right some of our own would be cool i plan on a complete write-up of my re lift install when i do it this summer.
  23. found mine on NAXJA...
  24. does this granitex come in spray cans or DIY forms? or is it just applicable by people with the special equipment?
  25. yea, the main problem with his hilift is that it gets hung up and won't change, then funny things start to happen.. they ket is to keep it clean, and make sure to do it properly, and keep it nice and loose. ILL KEEP THOSE STORIES IN MIND!
