  1. I really had my heart set on a 4.0 but I have found an 89 Sport Truck Comanche with the 2.6L. Is this a good motor? Are there any known problems with these engines. The truck in question has 187k on the clock and runs well.
  2. I have been looking for about a month now and really just check the following places: 1. Chicago Area Craigslist 2. Here 3. Ebay. I am looking for a daily driver manche or larger J10 or J20 and there don't seem to be many for sale on the net.
  3. Well guys, I have a 92 eliminator with a 4.0 that has a junk engine. (somthing is wrong with the Cylinder closest to firewall) for piece of mind I was thinking about rebuilding the motor.) The Master kit from Napa is $759 however, I can buy a remanned with a 70k warranty 4.0 engine for $1400 shipped. What have you guys done and what do you reccomend?
  4. I will soon be purchasing a 92 eliminator with a 4.0, 2 inch lift and 31 inch tires. What kind of MPG can I expect with this set up?
  5. What Axles are a direct bolt in swap for a 92 MJ Eliminator? Would a XJ 44 bolt right in?
  6. Why all this talk about upgrading the front dana 30? Has anyone actually broken anything? I have a dana 30 on my TJ with 4.88 gears and a detroit truetrac with 35's and haven't had any problems. Why not go with a super 30 kit for $1,000 and be done with it? The 30 spline chromo shafts should be enough to stand up to 35's no problem and you will have a ARB or OX locker to boot!
