how are the bushings in them? did you/do you have death wobble?
-
got any pics? if not i'd check the introduce your comanche thread and see if anyone else has them and post that pic.
-
truly, if i had those rims i'd be buying wheelspacers before i bought different ones. (my truck has 10-spoke wagon rims.. origional)
-
yeah, local 4x4 shops could probably build you some longarms for cheaper than the kits that are available... assuming of course you don't want y-arms and complete bellyskids and stuff. you could always go THIS route here... http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2761&highlight=cheap+long+arms should be fairly inexpensive
-
it could always be that its been fender-bendered or wheeled to hard. i know theres a mud-line halfway up the inside of my door. and its not from me.

maybe this is a case for the "gauruntee'd to pass" gas additives stuff they sell at the parts store?

i think you've got some time left before the actual trip. -
those rollbars are probably more for show, probably busted loose. SUCKS hahah darwinism is DEFINATELY in action... poor dog though.
-
i thought the first pic was the new tires at first and i was sitting there going  whaat? but it really does look nice man! you should try to find some 10-spoke centercaps... they really make those rims look 100x better.
-
i think I'm going to take it upon myself to be an @$$, and berate newbies for being new. and while I'm at it ill be a complete hypocrite while posting random and useless stuff and getting threads offtopic MORE than newbies do. anyways. merry christmas everybody!

i've got a killer ticking, so if anyone knows how to check for it without pulling it like he said... that'd be vital info.
-
probly have cheaper insurance with the truck... my insurance classified it as a work-type vehicle which dropped things a few bucks.
-
if you think those are the rims it came on from the factory it should say all their specifications on the tag inside the drivers door... mine has it all printed there.
-
thats probably MORE expensive...
-
my 235s on my stock height truck rub on the drivers side sway bar connect at full lock ? is that a normal spot to rub? would the steering stop help that too? (threadjack sorry)

Who knows about xj buckets in an mj?
Oizarod115 replied to Scott86mj's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
yeah, the brackets that are on my seat in those pics are MJ bench brackets. looks like the PO had to do some grinding on the rails and stuff in order to hook it all up right... ( I did not do the swap, bought the truck with XJ seats on my MJ brackets) -
i post so much... that one out of every 20 posts you read. is by me. thats uncalled for. i need to shut my mouth. psh whatever, i just need more tools!

i know your a/c doesnt work, (or it shouldnt by now :brows: ) converting the stock sanden a/c compressor to OBA my brother spent about 150$ including: pressure switch off at 140, on at 90. tool oiler, oil filter ebay air-tank 5lbs all fittings, hoses and such all sorts of little quick connects and stuff. EDIT: that oba setup runs his ARB and stuff fine, and also will run any tools. fills up a 35 from 10psi to normal in about 1min 30 sec.
-
why not? ARBs are GOOD lockers, and the air-line runs along your brakelines so unless you snag your brakelines on something, the airline will be fine.

long as you don't let her make yuo sell the heep. i see way to many sob-story classifieds about girls makin their men sell the jeep.
-
the rubicon D44 front is a D30 with a bigger ring and pinion basically. it can run 5.38s, wheras a D30 stops at 4.88s and the r&p is much stronger. however its got the same outers and the same thickness tubes. my brother has D30 super-30kit and i THINK that price includes the locker.

Jeep cheaped out and went back to a LP front axle for unknown reasons. Yeah, TJs have driveline angle problems. But, the front is actually better than the rear normally... My buddy's YJ now has a front driveshaft length of 48", and a rear length of 18". I think he's going to have to run a bigelow shaft in the rear. checked out tom-woods? they have some CRAZY angle driveshafts. (i don't know what a bigelow is though) and I'm sure you have checked out tomwoods. www.4xshaft.com
