  1. thanks everyone. i got a set of 31x10.50 bfg all terrains. i love them. they do fit without a lift but i have rubbing mainly in the rear, especially with some added weight inside. thanks for all the info.
  2. hello, i just bought a 98 cherokee and I'm wondering if 31x10.50x15 on 15x7 stock rims would fit with a 2 inch lift? i know its not a comanche but you guys have been a big help too me so far. thanks
  3. hey aemsee is your mj a 4x4 by any chance? does it have a 4.0 and auto in it? if so i would be interested in getting rid of it for you. i am also located in central ny. i am thinking of doing the 4wd conversion. thanks
  4. do you have any rubbing? i have a 88 mj 2wd that I'm thinking of possibly running 31s.
  5. does anyone have a pic of a stock mj with 31 10.50s on stock rims? and then with 1.75 lift? thanks
  6. hello, i have a 1988 2wd shortbed auto mj. i found a 1988 4wd shortbed 5 speed mj. i have a few questions, 1) can i use my auto trans? 2) will the t-case bolt to my trans? 3) will the driveshaft from the 5 speed work with an automatic trans? 4) do i need a new computer for the trans? thanks for any input
  7. Mickey Thompson Baja Belted 30x9.5-15LT has anyone seen or used these? i think they look awesome. they should look great on a comanche. sorry, i can't figure out to post a pic but you can see them at www.4wheelparts.com. tell me what you think!!
  8. i just found crager wheels 5 on 4.5" 15x7 5" backspace $34.99 from quadratech. these should do the job. they are only 1/4" difference in backspace from factory rims. thanks for all the info.
  9. my rims are the same as "attaboybob"s truck.
  10. my spec tag is gone. the rims are grey in color and have chrome trim rings with grey jeep center caps.
  11. thanks for the info. i think i have the 15x6 rims. i will look for the factory 15x7. something better than i have now.
  12. hello, i have a 1988 comanche 2wd. i want to put 235x75x15 tires on it. i have 225x75x15 on factory rims now. i want to put 15x7 rims on it with the new tires. does anyone know what bakspacing i will need? i would like them to stick out a little but i don't want to lift it. thanks
  13. hey Pete M, could you send me more info on your truck? i have an 88 2wd mj that i would like to make a 4wd. your mj looks awesome. here's my e-mail gthayer@twcny.rr.com thanks ,
  14. thanks for he replies! i think i will find a set and put them on. they are a lot cheaper than new aluminum rims. $125 set vs. $100 each.
  15. does anyone know if factory wheels from a ford ranger will fit a 1988 mj 2wd? I'm looking at the aluminum 10 hole rims. i know the bolt pattern is the same but i don't know if the center hole will fit. i tried to put the rims on a 1990 dakota and they would not fit because of the center hole. I'm not sure if the jeeps have the same problem. thanks
