i have a rubbermaid small bin in both my dd's. jumper cables and tow straps i've used countless times in my dd's. i keep some ratchet straps and bungee cords, cheap rubber boots that fit over my boots i'm wearing, those have come in handy hooking up a strap to a car burried in a foot of snow. light, gloves, 4 way tire tool in case i end up helping someone with a different lug nut size that is unprepared, usually a gallon of coolant to, but i've snagged my emergency stock for other vehicles. i also have an old camp folding shovel i found in my first house i bought. the few tools i keep in my dd are el cheapo, between my work tools that are way too expensive, then trail tools, by the time i get to dd tools they're just some junky stuff.

are you yahoos going out in the snow? i hate the snow.

people do stupid things and you have a comanche that runs at 210 degrees? how'd you do that?

i don't know about anyone else but i've never seen a door lock work that fast as it did at the end. do a search for stomp, they've been doing that stuff for a long time, blue man group came along after them.

do you have an aftermarket exhaust?

cool idea, i was actually thinking about starting a thread about buying, or getting your comanche. i randomly made a post on another jeep forum complaining that i like comanche's but can't find any, a guy posts up saying he's got one, been in his family since new, and he's about to sell it. a million pictures, and countless phone calls later i make the plan to go get it. my buddy at work and i leave work on a cold winter saturday afternoon. we drive 200 miles or so to pick it up, it had been sitting in the yard for a couple months, covered in snow, i brushed it off, and it fired right up. made the deal, drove it to the first parts store on the way home got a brake light bulb, washer fluid, and half a quart of trans fluid and drove it 200 miles back home. my buddy bought a $15 battery powered radio from walmart since the truck was missing the radio, so i had company. it starts snowing, and hard, four wheel drive works great, and it turns into white out blizzard conditions on the hwy. i've never been in a white out. couldn't see past the hood, its a weird feeling not knowing what direction you're going, the rumble strips on the side of the road were actually comforting because i knew i was at least on the pavement still. got her home and love it ever since.

globalization is pretty important, and really screwing up our country. the only conclusion i can come up with is there's more going on than any of us will ever know. at first it seems as country and world leaders just have no common sense, but thats not the case. there is more going on then we are led to believe, and more than we can realistically figure out. soon there will be no middle class, and there is nothing more true than the old cliche "the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer"

i have at least 4 of those laying around, maybe not exact but really close, i haven't been able to find a use for them. they suck because its a fixed loop, not like a d ring or clevis where you can open the loop to use a strap. i suppose you could just use a clevis to secure the strap to that hook.

i say throw it away. i work on more gm 10 bolt rears in the shop here than anything, imo its the gm equivelant of the dana 35. sounds like you have way more work to make it good than its worth.

i'm only gonna touch one of those on that list, OWL means Outlined Whitle Letters, on the tires.
