it stopped working for me about 3 mins of watching, couldn't make it work after that. i'm all for getting to see those fights, sometimes a buddy will get the pay per view but its 55 smackers.

i think its good, steering boxes seem to be going for closer to 100 for some reason.

that would be the weirdest closing of a thread i've ever seen. nothing going wrong, but lock it up, no name calling, no feelings hurt, no anger, no out of hand people or comments, but lock it up. i'm so suprised by people wanting it to end because of the content. if you don't like it don't get involved, why keep thinking about it. i would feel this way regardless of the topic, and if anythread got out of hand it should be dealt with. i find this topic of people wanting the thread locked interesting.

ya i agree w/ pete, its basically scientists saying the bible is wrong, or christians saying its not. i like the story of an elder in the new testament that was telling the jewish elders to be aware what they're doing w/ Jesus, and the deciples. He said, (paraphrasing) if Jesus is not the son of God, the whole deal will be over shortly just like the last guy that got people to follow him, and the followers will be scattered and gone, BUT, if he is the son of God, how are you going to fight against God? If God is not our creator, how come the bible, and this belief has been around so long, and has probably the largest following, and at the same time has the largest opposition. kinda makes you think something has to be going on there ya know?

what do you mean by exlusive? Like, can you be Christian but not believe in Creationism; or is it, you are Christian, so you have to believe in Creationism? unfortanetly now days Christian is too broad of a term. but to be a Christian you kinda gotta believe a few basic principles and/or teachings, such as God is our creator, he created adam and eve, not evolved them out of amebas (sp?), or made a big bang. followed by God sending his son to die for our sins, and for us to have eternal life in heaven with God all we have to do is believe and accept that. denying God as our creator i would have to say disqualifies someone as a Christian.

There is a reason why religion is usually a topic not to be discussed outside of the immediate family or your own church group. thats a very odd statement from a christian minister, we are to go out into the world proclaiming the good word. i will agree though that most peole involved here are not gonna change their minds, and i don't try to think i can, but i will share my ideas, scripture and opinions with them as long as it stays on an intelligent controlled platform.

oh i know, i told my buddy not to let this go, but he's completely turned off by the whole thing, even before that happened, his whole expereince was bad, unreal. he should've really not let it go right then and there, now its like you said, one word against the marines. i would've spoke up right then on speaker, and raised heck right there, and not let it stop all day.

so my best friend is 28 yrs old, has a master's degree in architecture and has found himself unable to find a job. he's decided he wants to join the military, using his education possibly in the service, and possibly gaining some military expereince to possibly apply for the fbi in the future. anywho, he's at a marine recruitment office in chicago, and the (african american) recruiter says let me get my superior on the phone since you have this education and want to be an officer. recruiter makes the phone call on speaker phone: "superior" on the other end after getting some info asks, while on speaker phone unknowingly: "is he white?" recruiter says "yes" so called superior on the other line says: "i don't want any white guys" i don't have words for this. :headpop:

some times people make a ww3 out of a lift kit topic, or a football thread, so should we not allow those either? i say since it has been handled 100% properly by all involved whats the problem. no name calling, no anger, no personal attacks, just free exchange of opinion and views.

jeeze, i'm a little suprised by the ones saying kill the thread, you don't have to click on it. its been a healthy exchange of ideas, and opinions, with a couple jokes thrown in.....kinda the point of this section of comanche club.

ya its easier to put on when not all the parts are there, but you need it. couldn't tell you the technical term for it, and it may be hard to find, not sure, i have about ten laying around, let me know if you want one, i'll send it out for a couple bux to ship.
