Ebay is the best price I think you will find. About half of what most stores want.

I do not know the name but I am pretty sure the "help" section in the auto parts store should have them thats where I got mine.

Does anyone have a source for a bed cover or tarp for the comanche. I searched it and found no one with one in stock or avalable. Or should I just go to a upholstery shop and get custom.

I was saying to call b-b just to get a price on the labor so you could get a idea. The guy before you get into Hudson near the body shop along 53 has 2 xj`s sitting at his shop (the airplane hanger looking thing)the are 97 plus I have not talked to him just seen them sitting there. He parts alot of stuff and it pretty cheap not sure what his plans are or if they would interchange with the grand? Hes not there much except for weekends and evenings his number is on his sign.

Call the transmission shop up near Ramey B&B I think up by the alley popper they will give you a price then just use your own judgement. One thing to consider what if the one you put in is no good even if the yard you get it from stands behind it they will not cover the labor.

Ok I found a 2wd long bed in a barn owners got it with the property the fender badge is (Comanche with a X under it ) I am kinda new to the Comanches but have never heard of this trim line before and thought it may be something rare. He uses it for a farm truck but said if it some one really wants it he may sell it.

The dist on my 4.0 was leaking quite bad but it was actualy loose. I tightened it and the leak was still there. Check the thin gasket for the block base area along with the O ring.

I removed and shimmed the CAD today. I checked and filled the oil at the pumkin is this good or is there an area to fill at the CAD area?

Not sure why but I like the coolant tank if its what I think it is a replacement for the old plastic bottle. How much for it if you want to sell?

I love it very tough looking! You should sell plans for the flat bed as many of the steel are rusted out.

Was driving today allot around town and the battery light came on. Noticed the wipers were getting slow truck was running fine so I went to Advance auto. Battery was 4 yrs old they tested it and said the battery and alternator were both bad. Is this possible or were they trying to sell the battery also? I myself did not believe them so I asked them a couple of times are you sure. Well I did buy the battery light is still on and there tester says no charge at all. Is there anything else I should do before buying a new alt??

In my younger crazy days I may have went back with some good epoxy and made the quater STICK. :mad:
