  1. Sadly from what CTC says there made in USA with USA steel thing is there bent on a metal brake the china ones on the net are die stamped from old worn out dies I am sure. I have a cherokee to do soon and this time I going to try the die stamped china ones. Mopar would be the way to go for sure can't imagine what they cost.
  2. Shermans sells CTC parts from what I could tell. I just bought a Taurus rocker from shermans and it was a CTC again however I never did put it on. Somewhere on here there is some pics of another guys CTC rocker being installed by a body shop I will try to find it Thursday and get you some pics. CTC service is fine I would have asked to return mine but they were bought a couple years ago it took me that long to get around to putting them on.
  3. The one in the link is good heavy metal and priced right but a VERY POOR fit the factorys are tapered the CTC ones are not. I just put a set of the CTC current on and the front edge was off at least a inch. I had the flanges rebent now there off about 3/8. There really made to go over the old ones but I cut mine all out. If I could go back I would order die stamped cherokee rockers and cut the lenght to fit. I could post some pics if you want I am no pro and this was my first set by myself.
  4. Mine did this after some work under the hood there was a broken soldered ground wire connection in the main engine wiring harness. I did just what you have hundreds in new sensors several weeks on it. I gave up towed it to a retired USAF mechanic it took him a few hours to find and fix it.
  5. On the MJ`s they say it can be done by just removing the driveshaft as its on the side of the tank.
  6. Awesome as always thanks for sharing.
  7. Take the door apart pull the door check out pound it all back into shape and get someone with a gas mig that knows how to weld sheet metal to stitch it . Grind smooth fill in any holes with putty sand and touch up paint.
  8. (Door Check) if looking it up on the net. Very common they wear out and bind up. Never had one tear metal I am thinking if you put a new one it it should be ok even cracked but you may want to have the sheet metal welded. The ones from front doors on any Cherokee will work but 97 up ones are MUCH better and smoother and are direct bolt in. You have to remove the door panel to replace it not a hard job the two nuts you see are all that hold it in. And I have had the wind catch a door that had one that was unhooked and it sprung the hinges and cracked a weld.

    Bad Day

Forgot to follow up on this they actually gave me more than the body shop estimate not that I am having a shop do it just wanted to compare. Body shop was around 650.00 and the insurance was over $1000.00. The only thing real bad are the bumper brackets and a ever so slight bulge in the fender. I was planning on painting the whole truch this winter anyway so this should cover most of it. HOWEVER, A few days ago I get a summons for a hearing from the city. Shes trying to fight it somehow over something it dosent say why. I googled her fathers name since its was a MR _________ III and guess what hes a layer in the city. A cop a 3 fireman watched her hit me so I don't know what hes up to but i hope they let her have it.
