That darn plastic heater control just broke on my 96 xj. I know they can be by passed on the mj is there any reason I can by pass this also? Just use 2 heater hoses to the engine from the core?

Well I was under my 1998, 100,000 mile XJ today and a 3 foot section of the frame is shot can't believe I never noticed it. Also the rest of this XJ has severe rust the po parked it in the grass for 13 years. I am hoping to find a XJ that needs a engine in or around Pa VA area. Long shot I know .

I thought about that however there 25 miles away one way. I got a off road bumper shipped fed ex and it was not even wrapped address wrote on it in paint and that was it. I should be able to combine a trip around the holidays up to the fed ex depot though.

I do want rid of it I just did not think I would have time to find a box and take it to get it shipped. However i did just get a large box it should fit in and I did some quick checking on price to you looks to be in the $ 50.00-60.00 range this is allowing for some gas and packing tape etc. Its at my dads garage I will get pics first and a final shipping price this thursday as long as your sure you want it.

If you were closer I would give you my old FEY bumper I took off. Its decent some rust thru on a inside bracket but quite usable. Not sure what it would take to ship it maybe after the holidays I may have time to get it packaged to ship.

I see about 3-4 on a regular basis in my tri county area however a new one just poped up all are ROUGH even wonder how they get inspected.

$1700.00 for a used motor you could of almost paid for a new rebuilt motor and install. Best thing going is its a Cheif that should help sell it I love Cheif`s . I am thinking $1500- $2000.00 maybe up here in the north down south where theres rust free trucks a plenty you would be lucky to get 500-800. Just my opinion which you did ask for.

My propane wall heater I just put in damn state farm will not allow me a wood burner in the garage the house which we do. They said no since its attached someday a bathroom is in order.

Cherokee door wipes from a 4 door front doors are the same up to 96. What you want to do is get the inside wipes from it as there in the best condition. Then what you do is use the one inside from one door on the outside of the other door they are direct fit.

Years ago I installed one by myself quite simple and it did work I bet todays are much better than then. Of course a trail cam or similar camera or a baseball bat does wonders also. I feel for you we just got a house in the county with good neighbors after 5 years of living with punks drug users and or dealers next door on all 4 sides. I have a XJ thats needs done next I quess I better start looking for factory ones now on ebay and such. I also had bad feelings after I put these on should have waited for something better.
