Well was out for the 10th Annual Trail Clean Up for the Great Lakes 4x4/ Two Trackers 4x4 Club. Was a good time with some great people. A couple of snakes that I walked up on and scared me $#!&less... Represented Comanche Club and passed out some cards.... And now for a brief commercial break....

So I wanted something for now just to hold me over untill I get a new bumper, so a guy had this bumper and was going to scrap it, I told him I'd take it just so I can have something a little stiffer up front then the stock bumper. Never really got a good look at it untill today. And realized it was a WP bumper that goes for $200+, so needless to say I got a great deal and she don't look half bad either. So I put it on tonight.... need to trim some of the fender flares, but had to cut the fenders up anyways so why not now....

I heard of it being done as well, from what I hear she'll work good but aslong as everything is stright so that the it'll seat right. So I wouldn't see why it would'nt work.

Messed with the alignment and got it about as good as you can get it with $#!&ty ends...

Yeah well got my lines on today up front anyways. I need a new rear line being that during the swap it got toasted by the welder, so replace someday. But yeah didn't take long for the install, just cut off the ends and added new ends and flared the lines and installed, like 5min for each line. My helper...

You have a stick no? If your crawling in the rocks, you SHOULD have a hand throttle anyway. Unless you have three feet! :roll: :eek: :D It takes a bit to get used to, but when you need it its like pure gold!!! I also use it to govern my throttle in the TJ for heavy /long winching and "jumping" another jeeper etc. Its very slick and no electricity is needed. CW Yeah that is why I was going to switch out the tranny for a auto when I first got her, but was told not to, but I hated wheeling it. But now that I know how to work the clutch I love it and will never go for a auto. But yeah was looking into a hand throttle being, not much rocks up here, but will be moving to AL, south, I will be looking for some rocks, but yeah atleast a throttle bump for the accessories none the least.

the 3800 is very simular in out put to a 4.0, but not exactly sure being supercharged or what not though. I remember someone argueing on the difference in hp between the 4.0 and 3800 so someonr should chime in. And keep the stripes if repainting untill you do repaint. then got to come off anyways.

So the idle switch will when flip give you a high idle? My buddy, Dune Coon, did something of this sort. He installed a silnoid on his trottle linkage on body so you flip a switch and it bumps the idle up, this being for his winch and duel batters and all his dang lights. picture of his ride under my build. It's a pretty sweet set up. Going to do the same down the road

nice. I thought of doing something like that someday. only way I would own a hummer. See I wouldn't pay for a hummer, like these other guys do. ;)
