  1. no, I completely got distracted by the winch and forgot to grab the vin. :( Are you sure about that? The only references I've ever seen were for 5000 pounds or 6000 pounds. got the numbers from the 86 accessories brochure. :dunno: I'll get that info when I get back home.
  2. your bracket seems to be in the same spot, but looks a bit longer on the bumper leg.
  3. it's designed for bone stock rigs. also, it's made by amc. the stuff they built was either bulletproof, or it might kill you. :dunno: I can see the little brackets on the front of your bumper in the brochure photo of the brush guard. same location anyway, though they look slightly different in the photo. I'll post the pic tomorrow. also, this is the 6k lightweight model. there was also an 8k version.
  4. it's only a 6k winch.
  5. nah, there are a handful of others out there. but they are rare enough that it's the only one I've ever seen with my own eyes.
  6. photos are here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29665
  7. Here ya go Rob, some decent photos of your new baby. :D feel free to swing by anytime and pick her up. and because I can't just leave my truck naked (my bumper was part of the swap and the local code guy already has it in for me :fs1: ) (the winch is in the garage) any questions? :D
  8. guess I should update my list... :D
  9. you're looking for this: http: //farm6 .static.flickr. com/5249/5272927047_076b2e9f1a.jpg (minus the added spaces)
  10. can you snap some photos of what all you've got going on?
  11. I would never try to repair those ancient lines. running brand new ones isn't all that hard. especially if you don't even try to perfectly match the stock bends. :D
  12. there ya go mister impatient. impressive photos aren't they. :D
  13. it is in my van right now. :D I'll have photos tomorrow.
  14. also, they may or may not be made quite right.
  15. that's not safe in the event of an emergency.
  16. that's about 1/3rd of the parts necessary to properly lift an MJ that high. You still need longer control arms, longer track bar, longer sway bar links, longer brake lines, (and lose the drop pitman and put the original back).
  17. how did you lift it? which kit or what parts did you use?
  18. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=18787
  19. the bottom one is the emergency bypass line. note that I screwed up which one I capped first.
  20. I was able to find a plug for the port at the auto parts store.
  21. I've never even heard of them. :dunno: got a link?

    sorry guy's....

    :waving:
  23. what are you doing for gears? how will you be using the truck?
  24. I bought it years ago. it's pretty wussy, but it does the job. dropped the sunvisors down too far for my 6ft frame and so I trimmed the visors a bit.
