  1. I've been unable to change the html successfully. not sure if it's me, or the issues with our site. (probably me) But I'll definitely keep in mind once I get someone to help me out with all the problems.
  2. when you say "easy to use"... I can't even get the main page to stop with the webring crap. :fs1:
  3. You'll want to look at older one-ton chevys. also, chevys have pass side t-cases.
  4. I'd go straight to a 60 front. kinda an expensive lesson to learn if it turns out it won't hold up to abuse. :ack: what front axle you will look for depends on what t-case you're running; pass drop or drivers drop.
  5. Yea that's what I read too. Idk why but mine has a 14 gallon tank. There is no way I can get more that 14 gallons out of it. hmmmm, maybe the fuel gauge isn't reading properly or the float is stuck and you're not actually at empty when it says. :dunno:
  6. 16 and 23.5 gal tanks are found under longbeds 18 gal for shortbeds
  7. perfectly normal. and I've seen much worse. you shoulda seen the tired leafs on my 88 before I did the buildup. :ack:
  8. if I built that behind my house without the proper gravel underlay, it'd look more like a moonscape after one winter.
  9. someone clearly doesn't experience a freeze/thaw cycle. :D must be nice! looks great!
  10. If it's cheap enough, I'd run that TJ axle. Is it slightly inferior to a similarly equipped HP axle? sure. Is it the end of the world? heck no.
  11. not just A bracket, but a drop bracket. they come both ways.
  12. depends on what track bar you go with. the stock piman arm should be retained unless you go with a trackbar with a drop bracket. the track bar and drag link need to be as close to parallel as possible. (also, the pitman arm from a TJ will give a small drop  )
  13. I'm reading 118-148 ft-lbs for the axle side, and 59-74 ft-lbs on the frame side for stock arms.
  14. whats a sway bar? :D it's that thing that helps keep you alive should you need to avoid something in the road. :D An SYE is a great upgrade. but it is kinda expensive and requires a new driveshaft too. Either way, lifting an MJ up that high will pull the stock driveshaft out about an inch and that can cause issues.
  15. wd40 tends to get all over the place. I replaced those felt guides with some generic stuff from jcw.com worked pretty good.
  16. individual results may vary. :D
  17. the 2.8 is in the same league as the peugeot and the dana 35. if you take care of it, it *should* last. there are plenty out there that have lasted 200k+ (I've got one). ...but I would have a backup plan just in case.
  18. window trim? your window crank mechanism likely needs to be lubed.
  19. you'll need that longer track bar. and longer brake lines. and longer sway bar links.
  20. how about one of the rounded-off-bolt/nut removal thingies? I'd hate to see you have to drill the dang thing out. :(
  21. swap them front to rear and see if anything changes.
  22. got a pair of vice grips? did you use any rust penetrant first?
  23. What all have you purchased so far? just coils?
  24. their main site address seems to have been hacked. pretty good list though.
