    no towing harness brackets Jeff a dozen or so libertys and not one even had a harness there. and only one window mechanism. seems this is a popular junkyard snag. but I did find a full set of like-new rotors/pads and some bits of trim I needed for the liberty. oh, and a set of black cloth 2door XJ buckets in great shape. sometimes the junkyard gods smile upon you.

    nothing makes me smile more than seeing a well kept survivor (with some subtle upgrades of course!) Bravo! and the bedslide is just awesome! I need one for my truck

    smart me showed up today and I had the thought to experiment on my own Jeep's doors to see what it takes to remove the window regulator stuff. totally worth it as I now know exactly what to do. should be a cinch to snag as many of those little plastic guides as I can (and it'll be a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the whole assembly!) plan is to hit the yards tomorrow morning!

    is it overpriced for a tiny piece of colorful non-precious metal? yes. but they so rarely show up for sale that when you get the chance, you should probably snatch it up.

    that sucks. I feel for you. the first time I took my newly re-assembled 88 it overheated 10 minutes into the dunes.

    if I remember right, we had 140k on our 2010 when we sold it and the only issues we had over that time were a cracked plastic coolant splitter and a bad relay socket for the rad fans. other than that is was peachy. the only reason we no longer have it was we needed more towing power and got a durango. I do miss that stow-n-go seating!

    either one will be good (assuming 97+ XJ), but the KJ Liberty gives you disks right off the bat and is a bit wider so the flare coverage of the tires looks more like the fronts. Ths XJ will have fewer things to lop off though and you can easily convert to disks using KJ or ZJ parts.

    they are essentially 2/3rds of a 4.0 so they have all the longevity of their big brother. gearing is extra important to accommodate any increase in tire size.

    I do, but I don't think they would show up well from the extreme pixel-ation of the tab images.

    they are a rarity in the XJs. double din? I... sorta went in a different direction. but it does have bluetooth.
