    1990 bench seat

if you can't find anything else, I'm eventually coming up the east coast with beds, and if it works out, I can bring along the bench I just picked up. has no seat covers, but does have the headrests.
  4. yup, those are priceless. perchance did you watch the latest installment of Business Blaze? I just can't stop smiling at the thought of trying to rebuild an engine while it's running.
  5. part of a review for some random super-coffee on Amazon:
  6. 4.56s. if I had a 2.5 and was paying for new gears, I might even jump to 4.88s. but both are better than stock gears pushing bigger tires. things you can do yourself: -buy axle -trim off all the old bracketry -buy new perches and u bolts things better left to the pros: -setting up the gears -welding on the perches more things you can do yourself after they are done: -install new axle
  7. love it when you get them in person, be sure to snap a closer photo. I can't read the tiny print.
  8. the other options are an XJ 8.25 and a Liberty 8.25. what gear ratio are you looking to run?
  9. yeah, I would find an XJ for parts. if you only want to keep the (currently) 2wd one, you'll make much more money selling the 4wd one than it takes to buy a 4wd XJ. plus then you can get a newer XJ with better parts than the 80s offered.

indeed. more eyeballs will see it. I've never paid for that. and I would get a Libby 8.25 myself
  11. nope. in a highspeed sustained linear flow (i.e. the freeway) the turbulence circulates into a sideways barrel shape that actually deflects the air coming over the cab. if the gate is removed, the barrel can't form. check out the Mythbusters work on it.
  12. your mpg goes down without a gate on the freeway. around town it's more or less the same.
  13. I wasn't the guy that contacted him, it was the other Peter (LSR3). I just tagged along for the ride. but I thought Rob had a contact that gave him the plethora of images of the TC.
  14. just learned today that spotify no longer carries Monster Guitars. hopefully this is temporary.
  15. check the members map pinned in the pub. I'd wager you've got at least 4
  16. to help keep thieves from running away with your tailgate.
  17. Jeep has to have some sort of historical arm, yes? maybe?
  18. there are a few different numbers floating around the interwebs that don't agree with each other on the overall total.
  19. if I have to replace these again, I'm buying that tube of windshield adhesive and squeezing it up in there to create a solid bushing. I nearly had to create my own for that diff support in the KJ but fortunately one of my used spares was juuuuuust good enough.
  20. I'd had to replace all those little rubber bits in the PT. less than 100k miles and none of the rubbers lasted. hurray for cheap american cars! although technically I didn't replace them all... there's a mid-engine one that is a super pain to get out and thus it remains.
  21. take a deep breath... and resist all urges to set it ablaze
  22. makin' good progress would you like me to move this over to the Projects section?
