  1. buy. them. all. we'll figure out the details later
  2. the quick-n-dirty is to just unplug the resistor, but that's more for long-term parking rather than a trip to the store.
  3. if you ever want to install an anti-theft switch, this wire is awesome. the thief will likely think the truck is just an old pile of crap because it starts and stalls, rather than a purely dead jeep that might indicate a kill-switch he might then look for.
  4. I'm hanging on to the red one for now. but if you want a replacement header, I'll see what I can dig up before I head north. I've passed on a bunch lately that had minor cracks. guess I should stop doing that.
  5. the bed was outgoing, but I can't haul a trailer anywhere without stopping by places to grab some more goodies
  6. that's a good idea
  7. I added him to the registry

  9. be sure to share lots of photos!
  10. what is the VIN? we need that before we can get you any info from Chrysler's computers
  11. another 2000 flawless miles on the ol' girl. not that there's much to go wrong of course.
  12. just a note for anyone contemplating applying a coating, you have to address any rust first. and I mean seriously address it. a bedliner will cause way more headaches later on because the rust can propagate underneath.
  13. just for clarification, it's not a "set" perse, it's a handful of various stackable shims that will need to be adjusted to match a particular bed to a particular body.
  14. sooooo, they clearly have no experience with what happens to door stickers on 30 year old Jeeps. any other impossible tasks they'd like you to accomplish? maybe peace in the middle east?
  15. Raybuck makes brand new covers for the bench seats in a variety of fabrics. they will even send you a sample of the fabric.
  16. sounds like a win to me.
  17. yeah, these guys. they are attached and not part of the actual housing.
  18. are you saying that you... won't be buying a pair of repops? because (assuming an affordable price) I'm betting you will. that'll give you a item to scan after you pull off the old lens. not sure what to do about the reflective bits inside (the ones required by DOT so your truck illuminates when headlights hit it) I haven't had time to put my energy into dismantling one yet.
  19. I do believe that account is from a representative OF the company.
  20. someone needs to let them know their grille is upside down
  21. for better or for worse, ACC is the only game in town.
  22. the end goals will determine the path to them.
  23. depends on price. if they are cheap enough, then I imagine it's only a matter of time before you "need" new ones, just for the bling factor. I imagine most all of us will.
  24. just the lenses. you'll need to soften the glue and pry yours off, then glue the new ones on. (after cleaning up the inside of the housing of course)
  25. yeah, I'll get right on that. I'll use all the powers of my copious amounts of influence on the aftermarket industry
