    Thanks everyone it was the ballast resistor I jumped it with a blade fuse to get it home and replaced it.

    I am trying to fix my brothers 90 Comanche 4.0 2wd manual truck it will start for 5 seconds and cuts out. Not sure where to start , seams like it has fuel. It will crank right back up and run for 5 seconds. Its been20 years since I owned my 89 AMC 2.5L and I don't to just throw parts at it. Where should I begin?
