  1. holy crap did you ever dodge a bullet!
  2. sweet! anything is possible with a 3d printer!
  3. that is a shockingly colorful belt.
  4. bellhousing is the hardest to find
  5. if it keeps your bed dry, then it's close enough
  6. I keep telling people to get away from "Jeep" seats and explore the junkyards. good find!
  7. looks pretty dang good for a floor fix
  8. that's a lot of lift needs bigger tires!
  9. just a heads up that there is some... discrepancy... with new leafs by any manufacturer. some guys have gained a bit, others have not. in theory you shouldn't gain anything over stock (but probably a bit over current since 30 years of time will steal some height).
  10. I'll be sure to remember it this time (probably not!)
  11. got any old photos?
  12. very nice work! only thing I have to add is that the XJ floor bracket change happened in either 95 or 96. I can't ever remember which.
  13. moving this over to the DIY subforum where it'll eventually get into the master list.
  14. WJ arms are available brand new for not much money. you should be able to find some far more local to you.
  15. Oregon trail, here we come!
  16. I'll have to keep an eye out for that.
  17. the only real difference I can find is the size of the hole through the bed sheetmetal right behind the bumper. enlarge it in some manner and it should be good to go.
  18. went to get my spare down from the trailer and the adapter that is 86-only got quite jammed in there. it was wedged between the tailgate and the bumper.
  19. the WJ arms are the same length as MJ arms, but are better built and have a bend for tire clearance. you just need to nip the steel bushing to be flush with the rubber bushing.
  20. that's usually how it works. I carry an umbrella designed to reflect the sun and repel the rain so I can keep nature on its toes.
  21. MJs have much longer wheelbases (and so much longer shafts) and thus don't have the same issues that the wranglers and XJs might have. you can go up to 6" of lift without troubles with the ujoint angles. but I haven't heard much talk about the pans, so I'm not certain how close it'll be. but if you're worried, just reuse the 2.8 pan
