    Gas prices

just popped up in my fb feed. not sure which location. leave it to Bucky's to break the barrier.
  2. there are people out there with too much money, so I'm sure there's a market. but personally, for 7 grand and I can't have a passenger or take it on a freeway? pass. just too much for such a limited toy. I'd rather have a $200 pedal bike and just get in better shape so I can go further.

topped off for 3.15 today, then saw 3.05 like 3 miles later (as is tradition. lol) come on 2.99!! you can do it! I bet the first gas station to break that barrier makes a killing with people flocking to it.
  4. are you looking from top or bottom of the sheetmetal?
  5. there "should" be little dents where the screws go in the body. are they not there for 86?
  6. do you have the body side bracket? do you have the transmission side bracket? can't say for sure, but I gotta think that the body side bracket is the same across the board. the transmission side will vary. I made the trans side for my 00 AX-15 swap out of a straight piece of 3/16" flatbar stock. you should be able to use the Azzy linkage too and skip the brackets altogether. https://www.azzysdesignworks.com/shop/p/xj-linkage-mopar
  7. those moabs are going to look soooooooo nice....
  8. a truly glorious reversal of time! excellent work fellas!
  9. didn't think that would last long. congrats on the purchase of your new shiny!
  10. don't forget that the drivers side fender of the trailer rotates down out of the way.
  11. oh for sure, they are entertaining ... when they aren't digging up my flowers, or gnawing on the deck, or eating the wires in the engine bay of my truck, or making a nest in the air filter box, or living in the attic, or raiding my bird houses for baby birds... but seriously, I find the most entertainment when I nail them with my supped up nerf blaster. 150 fps to your butt you stupid fuzzy rat. lolololol...
  12. fun fact, grey squirrels might randomly gnaw on your camper's rubber propane line, even if you've covered it with some split wire loom. so I got a braided stainless line to replace it. have fun chewing on that you stupid squirrels!
  13. didn't they come with an aluminum spacer? or am I thinking of the XJ's version?
  14. the 6x12 with the ramp has a narrower opening at the back than 6'. the 6x12 that has a "tailgate" rather than full ramp is a full 6' at the rear opening. I'd probably use the car hauler and put the Jeep on backwards so the tires can be properly attached then figure out something for the frontend. maybe a spare tire or 2 for cushion and then strap it down? dunno for sure. I brought a spare front axle and installed it in order to bring home this truck.
  15. the 2.5/4spd usually came with 3.55 gears which is the prime reason why she feels super sluggish.
  16. a new latch just glues on with rearviewmirror adhesive. swapping out the pane is far more effort though, but the assembly does come apart after you remove it from the truck.
  17. did they do the truck justice?

filled up for $3.19 cash/credit on the way back from the junkyard sunday. and of course saw 3.15 cash 1 minute further down the street.
  19. the latch can be replaced and the glass lubed.
  20. that's a good question. the usual choices are scrap sheetmetal formed to fill in just the rust, or a replacement bed. I wonder if a ranger or s-10 would be close?
  21. vacuum strength drops as engine load increases. but in theory it shouldn't drop far enough to fail at keeping the door open. it's the job of the vacuum reservoir to hold some reserve for just that occurrence, but I know guys that eliminated it and claim to have no side effects. the sphere isn't cracked is it? hose going to it is in good shape?
