Stock or aftermarket control arms? Personally, I'd rather swap in a stock shackle and lower the back end to match the front.

It's totally possible, but also totally impractical. The v6 is carbed, the 2.5L is fuel injected and you'd need to swap over all the wires from the engine bay and a lot of them from under then dash.

For our Scout trip out to Philmont, I took the Amtrak from Detroit to Chicago and from there out to New Mexico. Pleasant ride, but the reclining seats were not comfortable to sleep in. :(

It's completely legal for a shop to do it. Take the new and the old one in and they'll do the paperwork. :D

No 3" lift is for "hardcore" wheeling. The money you spend will be towards driveability and quality of craftsmanship. Neither should be skimped on. :D

Gears in the Dana 44 tend to follow the same rules as the 35. So if it's a 4.0L/auto, it'll likely have 3.55s. But since so much time has passed, it's always a good idea to check and not assume.

CPS sensors are known to be temperamental and unpredictable once they start to die. I'm not saying it's your CPS for sure, but you wouldn't be the first that had a CPS that checked out ok but was eventually found to be the problem. 8)

That computer and those injectors are precisely why your truck rocks (well, them and the solid front axle). But I imagine if you were to want less reliability, less performance and worse fuel mileage, I bet somehow you could adapt the carb from a 4.2L Wrangler. But to make that work I bet you'd also have to swap to the YJ's head and manifold. This should be relatively easy to find since YJ owners are dumping them for the better flowing and superior fuel injection setups found in your truck and later Wranglers. Heck, you might even be able to trade your stuff for some YJ owners stuff. :D But seriously, the computer in our trucks has a long history of reliability and a proven track record of performance. It should never cause you grief. :thumbsup: :cheers:

The price makes it border on too good to be true. Make sure there's nothing physically wrong with it.
