  1. PM me your phone number so I can call you if my (my neighbors actually) internet won't work.
  2. And leave a CC card behind... :brows:
  3. I'm calling him later today to swap more info. I'll keep you posted.
  4. The 27th sounds as good as any for a meet and greet. I'm going to the junkyards this saturday though, as next week is supposed to be chilly. :(
  5. I can't wait to see the console installed. :D
  6. :rotf:
  7. I won't have a car thursday, but friday's weather looks good in the morning and early afternoon. Sat morning could be ok too.
  8. It was Jeep's attempt at reduced drag to increase gas mileage. Didn't work to any measurable degree. Not all Jeeps came that way, and fixing the CAD so it's engaged all the time will make your Jeep just like the rest of them, including all XJs since ~93 and wranglers since 97.
  9. Sounds like you've been busy. :D
  10. What's it going in? I mean, under the hood. :D
  11. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Not quite. It's a stock GT-5000. Looks like his neighbor can store it for me, now I'm just looking for someone to swing by and check it out for me.
  13. Like testing out, picking up and storing a riding lawn mower for me? :brows: Apparently the guy is leaving for Florida on the 26th and I won't be driving back up to Michigan until the 5th.
  14. If you're bored, go for it. TechnicallyI've already set one up, but I don't know if you want to reuse it or alter it or what-not.
  15. The plan fell though. I'd like to go to one of the pull yards later this week if anyone else is up for it.
  16. 2wd MJs seem to have more rake than their 4wd counterparts. A decent set of 4wd springs should give you an inch of lift.
  17. Sure that wasn't the vent tube you saw? Up at the top? There's no vacuum or electrical on the trans. Well, the backup light is electrical, but it's that way on all of the transmissions. The only Dana 44 that will match the front axle (and be worth swapping) will be one from an MJ/XJ. Or you can swap in an Explorer rear axle. Rubbing is only a problem on them when running stock rims and wide tires.
  18. Maybe your CAD is popping in and out due to a vacuum leak?
  19. Did you bump the big vacuum hose running to the brake booster?
  20. Yup, WJ is 5x5 KJ is also 5x4.5 though.
  21. XJ pans are a bit different than MJ pans and will require a bit of massaging to work. People have done it though.
  22. I might not be able to get there that early. PM me your phone number so I can give you a ring in the morning.
  23. Yes, but you'll have to weld perches on the the proper spot.
  24. What time?
  25. My internet connection is too dang slow and unpredictable (stealing wireless from one of the neighbors). But you should probably post this in the pub where people might see it.
