  3. MJ shock mounts are bolt on. you've already got them on your truck. :D don't fear the welding. It's very simple and you can probably get it done at a muffler shop for cheap. new perches can be found at the dealership for like $15. Gearing is more important.
  4. there ya go. right smack in the middle. :D
  5. this is exactly where this should be posted up.

  8. I like my grilles upsidedown. :D
  9. not too crazy about slapping my address out there for google bots to find, so anyone that wants to snail-mail me a donation should PM me. please don't send cash. as it tends to more easily disappear into the ether. money orders or checks are just fine.
  10. they were just generic hood pins I found at the auto parts store. :dunno:
  11. slight change of plans for the brochures. I'm going to take them with me on this trip and shoot them there. It'll be warmer in Fl and I can do them outside without freezing my butt off.
  12. I like the pins. but I found that I needed to buy the longest I could find. and it's still a tight fit.

  16. I swear I saw a round LED taillight with built-in reverse in one of my 4x4 magazines not too long ago. I'll post up if I find the dang thing.
  17. even if it's possible to remove the CV, the driveshaft will be way too short afterwards.
  18. got my brochures today. photos should be up tomorrow. :D
  19. I have an "open" rad with the cap in my 88 and I kept the closed system so it physically fits just fine.
  20. not yet. seen pictures. only one of my MJs still has a CAD and I sorta borrowed that one's 4x4 shifter for the 88. :shake:
  21. It's been done. :D
  22. tru dat. The backup plan would be a hose clamp on the axleshaft holding the collar over. :D
  23. It's simple enough to lock the CAD permanently and eliminate it from the equation. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18415
