DD is a 95 Acura Integra LS/SE hatch, stock B18 non vtech, 5 spd. Has 304k on it.
Clear coat is peeling, spoiler gone since before PO.
Attached is my fav mod. Haha. Who else do you know that has one in a sake burner? It matches the one in my MJ.
Temp is better and consistent vs closed. MJ runs warm on mountain passes, but that's mostly due to factory non-AC, and only having a mechanical fan. I do need to check my fan clutch though. XJ has the first gen DBO triple fan setup, and runs fine. Both vehicles have some Water Wetter in the system.
I've got an off the shelf spectra rad in my heeps. They work well.
Just go to your local O'Reilly, Carquest, Napa etc and pick up an ho era rad, heater hoses, and universal overflow tank. And a cap, of course.
Dorman / Motormite part number for late model arms is 42586. Should be able to source locally thru O'Reilly or other parts stores.
I have them installed on both my XJ and MJ.
Lifetime warranty to boot.
Yes, had no room in the back. It's worth it. Like anything the initial investment is the most cost. I lucked out, and my friend's dad stopped drinking (who does that? ) to lose weight for a promotion , and I got mine for less then half price. That included a mostly full CO2 tank. Get one with at least 2 taps, whether you run a single 1/2 bbl or 2 1/6bbl.
I have WJ belts in my MJ. There were in a pears vehicle I had on my property. Need to use both cab and floor to mach. The mechanism is opposite, so for cab side use pass for driver and vice versa. Floor should work same either way.
A D60 will be stronger and less expensive to build than a d44. My plan, eventually, is 60 front, 14ff rear and 35s or 37s. Or, if I come into a bunch of money a 60/9 hybrid front axle. Get your truck reliable, and setup before you go crazy with it.
