  1. Those off an MJ, or something else? I confess to never having seen one of them, ever.

    Out of the loop

Be safe Eagle. I know everyone's situation is different, but having a generator (even a small one) during an extended power outage can make the difference between a semi-crappy and a downright dismal experience.
  3. Plugged right in at the C100 connector (the engine side of the fuseblock). I didn't touch the interior harness at all.
  4. I've only been to a few places in but I've got to believe this is pretty spot on. Jim is one of the cleanest (which is refreshing) and funniest comedians of our generation, IMHO. Enjoy.....
  5. 'scuse me.....I'll be right back. Gotta go change my shorts
  6. That. Was. Awesome.
  7. I laughed way too hard at that. Still giggling a bit, too.
  8. Be well man. I could say a lot more about this hype but I won't out of respect for the board and CC community. Y'all will be fine, take care of the wife and don't go insane doing it. My wife works at the local VA, and I'm fully expecting her to get it sooner than later. I'll be in the same boat as you.
  9. Lelands grow fast anyway, but I fertilized them with tree spikes for the first few years too. They really exploded. I've already topped/dead headed a couple of them that were growing too fast (which you're really not supposed to do because it splits the leader if you don't cut them right). They're all too tall to top now with the ladders/tools I have, so they are off to the races. They do make a perfect wind break for storms when they come from the southwest, which is a bonus.

    CC cookbook

^^^theres a local pizza chain down here pimping the same thing.....just a bunch of toppings and sauce in a disposable tin, no crust. $7.99 each, I bet they're making a killing. I might actually grab a couple of them for dinner tomorrow night. Tonight is semi-vegetarian, lol. Zucchini lasagne with some home grown (not by me) cuke spears, and I'm gonna fry up some diced salami to top the lasagne with.
  11. And here's a pic of the same area, 8 years later.
  12. Not wrenching, but drinking You can use a small bottle Jack between the axle and frame rail to pop the coils out/in. Disco the lower shock, TRE and the sway bar link. Easy as pizza-pie.
  13. If I was growing it, I'd be selling it not smoking it. I work for the government, can't afford to screw that gig up.......until about 2030 when I retire LOL. Here's a google street view from back when I planted the Lelands. Technically my property line is right at that fire hydrant, but I wanted a natural fence to block everyone coming down the road from looking directly at my house (and inside my garage). I'll take a current pic when I get home from work today so you can see how fast and tall those things grow. They do look pretty stupid when you first plant them, 6 feet apart....but you have to leave room for them to grow up and out. I could have spaced mine a bit further apart than I did even, but it's way too late for that now. https://www.google.com/maps/place/3519+Rossington+Blvd,+Chester,+VA+23831/@37.3367302,-77.4268176,3a,75y,128.89h,90.21t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1slEEGcUR-6AXy-G1CBbXmUw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!4m5!3m4!1s0x89b109b28ffaa7a5:0x12f86987f7dfe2f8!8m2!3d37.3367616!4d-77.4264716
  14. You mean me or Fiatslug? I wish that was cannabis behind mine, but those are Leland cypress trees. Started them from 1 gallon pots about 8 years ago, they're 30 feet tall now LOL. I've got a few fruit trees, a maple I dug out of the ground up in PA and transplanted, some crepe myrtles and a magnolia in that area too. I wanted a natural fence on that side of my house. I succeeded.
  15. Looks like a GA tag on the van in the pic too.....lol. I'm not a big fan of AC in a vehicle, I'd rather have the windows down. Of course, I don't do a lot of "city" driving, either, most of my miles are interstate. KJ blows nice cold air, but the AC in the Focus is dead. I actually drove the KJ to work earlier this week so I could have AC on the way home. 103 air temps with "feels like" 110 heat index is about my limit I might tinker around with the Focus one of these weekends. AC wasn't working when I bought it, and I've since discharged what was left of the charge in the system when I had to install a new PS pump and pressure line, so I at least need to put a charge in it before I start troubleshooting it. But it's not real high on my to-do list. Might be dealing with a hurricane or some semblance of one this weekend into next week. Gotta get my preps ready tomorrow (mostly just bringing it all up from the shed and checking things to make sure they're ready).
  16. I've been to TN once...Lawrenceburg to be exact. Longest roadtrip I ever made. Left Richmond at 0700 Saturday morning, got there around 6PM, found a cheap motel, had dinner and went to bed. Picked up an engine the next morning (in the back of Ford Escort hatchback LOL) and drove back, got home at 7PM and damn near died on the couch within 10 minutes. Ya'll make some kind of sweet red pepper slaw/relish thing that you put on just about anything over there. It's damn tasty!
  17. I just noticed the Steelers sticker on the window. <<hangs head in shame and slowly shuffles away>>
  18. Well, that's ONE way to get AC in your truck.....
  19. Forgot to mention, there's an awesome depiction of death wobble right around the 23:40 mark.

Fun factoid.....see the big white sphere to the right of the launchpad? Fuel storage tank. Several years ago, my mom (RIP) dated the guy who designed those things. I'm sure he's long since passed away by now as well. He was French, and an absolute @$$.....but was loaded, LOL. He worked on the Space Shuttle project.

  22. Friggin awesome.

    Favorite jeep

J20. The end. Second place is a tie between the M715 and M1A1. For me anyways, YMMV. Definitely not a KJ, but they're good in their own way, lol.
