  1. Thanks JT - but your pic taking skills need work too, like mine. :D Reckon that Honda cover might fit? Oh, 4-banger, never mind. Looks great though. I'm going to have a friend powder coat mine w. the cover the same (or close as I can find) same as my body color, w. polished ribs. I'll do the prep, and the finish. Here's the prep so far on a spare: Image Not Found
  2. Ugly Pat. Not the valve cover, the pic. I'm geting ready to redo mine - can you focus the pic a little better?

  4. Crap Taz, I hear those fruity chemicals Budweiser puts in BL Lime wreaks havoc with the drug analyzer machines and causes false positive readings. :D Seriously, sure hope you get on board with that fancy dealership. Is it closer to home?

  6. He and his family have a lot of commercial real estate in town, and I'm sure he'll be one the first in line to get his liquor license. I can't wait for the local Saturday rag to see the doom and gloom editorials from the old Southern Baptists. But they'll still keep on sneakin' out of town to buy their booze because no one recognizes them.

  8. I have a friend who has a liquor/beer store over in the next town where I usually get mine. He lives in Arab. He's voted for years to keep Arab dry; over 50% of his sales are from Arab citizens. He's not a happy camper today, and I feel sorry for him. :( YEAH, RIGHT! :beerhead:

  10. Marshall That's right, but they'll do it. :D Soon Mama can buy my beer at Walmart when she goes on her grocery runs. Haven't been able to do that since we were overseas and she'd stop off at the Class 6. Good stuff.........

  12. Final results for the city WET/DRY referendum: WET by 334 votes. No details on when and how yet, but it happened at last. At least something good came out of this election.

  14. Look on the right front bulkhead near the firewall near the battery where the vacuum hose passes through to the cannister behind the front bumper. The vacuum hose has probably split or has a hole in it - very common problem.

  16. True. But that game will be in the Georgia Dome and we'll have more fans there (me included IF 'Bama makes it :D ). It will almost be like a home game. Hopefully. Maybe. Perhaps............
  17. Sp what's the RPM @ 65 MPH Jeff? I'm guessin' about 2250?
  18. Especially if you live in a state with an "I" as the last letter in the abbreviation. Even HI!
  19. Me too. Then there's Miss State and Auburn at home. Auburn worries me more than the others. It don't matter what the records are in the Iron Bowl.
  20. I do not think Renix era full gauge clusters w. the auto shift indicator exist. They were in the some of the XJ Police Package models, but these didn't start until 1992 (electronic speedo). If the only reason you don't swap a full gauge cluster in is because of no shift indicator, you can do something like this. Works just fine.
  21. Dayem! #2 'Bama beats Arkansas State 35-zip; #1 Texas LOSES to T-Tech 39-33. Bama B #1, who's #2???? ROLL TIDE!
  22. Yeah Jeff, looks like you will be nearly perfect. You should be running about 200 RPM faster at 65MPH than a stocker w. 3.55 gears and 28" tires. That's golden. :D
  23. Chances are you'll prolly get stationed at either Pensacola or Jax NAS after A school, so you'll have plenty of time to get acquainted with the AO.
  24. Aye. You're going to love the Lakes in the middle of winter.
  25. Joop, here's an online parts manual you can look at to compare the brake part numbers for the rear ends offered in the 86-88 models provided by Adam. http://www.greatlakesxj.com/tech.html
