  1. Mickey Mouse doesn't even begin to describe that, err, repair.
  2. What size center bolt are you using on these Joe?
  3. It fits fine. One less thing to think about.
  4. Here's how I did it: http://comancheclub....-sensing-valve/
  5. Did you get a maybe 6' 2x4 under the front wheels and lift vertically straight up and down while some one was watching the ball joints for movement? Sounds like you might have when you said "Maybe an 1/8 inch vertical movement on left front tire". There should be no visible movement. It sounds like a ball joint to me. I have a similar clunk when I hit a bump, like the little reflectors in the centerline of the road. But it sounds like it's coming from the rear, the front end is solid. Can't find it either............
  6. The clutch packs die an early death from lack of lubrication. As far as diff cover RTV or gaskets, I always use a gasket coated with Permatex 20539. Let it set at least overnight before filling. No leaks ever.
  7. Got that right.
  8. BMW 635
  9. We can only use the Viton valve stem and the tight sealing metal-to-metal flare cap of course since the valve body is welded to the fuel rail. But since I'm a cheap bastid as most of us are, I'm planning to fab up a pressure brake bleeder with the valve body, so nothing goes to waste.
  10. Since Viton o-rings and gaskets are used exclusively on aircraft for fuel related applications, I'll take my chances with it over general purpose rubber.
  11. I was checking the fuel pressure today and unscrewed the Schrader valve cap to attach the pressure gauge. The cap was full of fuel! So I unscrewed the valve core and it's rubber seal around the stem was completely disintegrated. I'm guessing I must have had a pneumatic valve stem not rated for fuel and with today's ethanol loaded fuel, it rotted out. Lucky the cap was on tight or things might have got interesting. I ordered the below Schrader valve and cap rated for fuel injection HERE to be safe in the future. Until it comes in I'll keep my eye on the fuel rail for leaks. Might be a good idea for y'all to check also.
  12. No, you don't have to use Ford 24# injectors. Unless you want to waste fuel w/o tuning first.
  13. Can you read?
  14. This is a regulation factory accessory and was sold by the dealer. I bought a NOS one many years ago and have it on my truck. It came in an AMC box. It's aluminum and attaches using sheet metal screws.

Probably Jay. But desperation is the usual reaction when inexperienced youngsters get frustrated. Not only in football but in everything. The older experienced dogs always win, up to a point. Watch out for the Niners next year.

Possibly an equipment problem? I don't think intentional thuggery was involved at all, just hard football. The young Niners got beat in the end by a more experienced team, especially the QB's at the end in spite of the momentum shift caused by the power outage. Flacco was for sure the MVP, and the Raven defense shut the Niners out at the end. Also older bro John out-coached younger bro Jim at the end with the punter play running around in the endzone killing the clock. Brilliant.......
  17. Their response will (should) be: it's a performance product, as such there is no warranty. It's spelled out clearly on their web site. Same for their stroker engines - no warranty. But they sell many more than their competitors. As you know. That being said, I have one on my Hesco stroker now since 05, no problems. No problems with the stroker either. Just lucky I guess.

    Super Bowl

Crazy game, no gloating from here. Just one comment: If the power outage didn't happen, I think it would have been a Raven blowout. But we'll never know.

This looks like an Alabama / Notre Dame rerun. :rotfl2:
