  1. I used the existing temp sender for the gauge on the rear left cylinder head to feed a Spal PWM-V1 variable speed controller for my second fan. Works great turning the fan on and off and switching high and low speeds after adjusting the controller. If you have an temp idiot light however, this will not work with a temp switch.
  2. :rotf: I knew it wasn't you.
  3. Good to know. Of course, that applies to most everywhere. Plastic doesn't rust, fortunately.
  4. Hmmmm. The seller is in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We have a member from the same place. Naw, can't be the same guy...................
  5. Thanks Dillithium. It appears mine are mounted upside down, opposite of the factory WJ mounting, not Jeep Driver. Well, they have been on there like that for many years and work just fine and the bushings are fine too. Wondered why I didn't have to trim anything except the bushing sleeves when I mounted them. I'll swap them around when I change bushings in ten years or so...... From the WJ parts manual:
  6. Jeep Driver, maybe it's just camera angle, but it looks as though you have the WJ LCAs installed upside down. The round bushing is supposed to be in front; oval bushing on the rear. That would explain the tight clearance with the shock mount. Someone eyeball this and tell me I'm crazy.................
  7. Wade, more like a slap, flagrant 1 intentional for sure in my mind. The refs blew it, but it didn't alter the outcome, so that was good. Otherwise we would be hearing about it ad nauseam from the media. I've always been an ACC fan from my days living in VA, so I'll be pulling for Duke. But in watching the tournament this year, the Badger team and Coach Bo are due. With a lot of upperclassmen sticking with the team, and super old timer coach, wouldn't hurt my feelings at all should WI win. The previous Duke loss will be an added incentive for Bo to fire up the team, and they are a lot better prepared now than when they previously played Duke. Almost want to say Roll Badgers, but it doesn't sound right.
  8. How sweet it is - couldn't have worked out better. The Dukies polished off M-State pretty easily, and in a hell of a game the Badgers KO Kentucky. Very surprising how WI shutdown KY at the end; bit of a choke from the Cats. Glad they are now post "undefeated" history, and the Calipari basketball factory is gone for awhile. Monday night should be a hell of a final game. Two classic teams and pretty evenly matched. Gotta go with the Dukies though.
  9. Welcome - hope you get it worked out.
  10. Looks like my pic above is from the inner side of the left LCA while yours is from the outer side. But you can see the difference in the clearance................
  11. Which side / angle / is this pic taken from? Let me know and I'll snap a pic. I just looked at mine and have over 1/2" clearance between the lower shock mount and the top of the LCA, and the wheel is perfectly centered in the flare. Something's not right.......... EDIT: Quick Pic
  12. Perhaps his greedy financial advisor recommended it. :shake: And some idiot will probably buy it.
  13. Pretty sure this is p/o the vapor line from the fuel tank to the charcoal cannister. If so, it's a 3/8" ID vacuum hose. Cut a piece out and bring it the the Zone or similar and replace the soft hose portion.
  14. Poor design on these. Cut the nuts off with the Dremel then get some new ones. Use anti-seize when reinstalling. http://www.cseoffroad.com/s52002585.html
  15. That's an advantage with automatic transmissions. When you slam it in PARK, a mechanical pawl slides in between the teeth of the flexplate and the sucker isn't going anywhere. I have to remind myself to apply the parking brake occasionally to keep it free and operational.
  16. I don't see my friend, the Big O, in the garage. She still lurking in there?
  17. Your link doesn't point to anything. Most everyone agrees that the Bosch pumps are the best for our trucks. They were used originally and are still the most reliable pumps out there. There are cheaper pumps, but you get what you pay for. Example: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Fuel-Pump-Electric-In-Tank-Type-OEM-Equivalent/_/R-BSA69302_0416976150
  18. Those are new ones for me for 3" of lift.
  19. How much lift do you have? And which adj. control arms are you installing? Uppers, lowers, both?

    Prairie Fire

Was not joking about the fire Jim, was joking about the "I can see it from here Jim" statement. Probably a poor joke............ It looks like good progress is being made at containment. Hopefully this is the case: http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/local-news/fowler-river-fire-burns-130-acres-85-percent-contained

Just one last post at April 1, 11:55 PM. How's the fire now Jim? Pretty well contained?
  22. Doesn't take much to cut through 1mm of rust. :rotfl2:
