  1. What year is your truck? It would be nice if you edited your signature in the settings to let us know what you drive so we don't have to guess. Wire colors as well as most everything else were different throughout the years.
  2. Elvis Costello? Wow! Be sure to get his autograph.
  3. But Bo, he has e3 diamond fire spark plugs! That's 35 HP right there. OP, get it dynoed. You'll be disappointed.
  4. With 31's - 32's you will want 4.10 gears. I tried 3.55 gears with 31's for awhile - it sucked. 32's will be even worse. Why don't you just get a set of "thick" 4.10 gears for the D44 - no need for a new carrier. Are you 2WD Charlie?
  5. The 80s? OCONUS for the entire decade except for one quick trip to finalize my first (and last) divorce.
  6. Most assuredly. I don’t need no steenkin’ rubber.......
  7. Har, I did the same thing, and am sure it's just differences in tint. When I first got my MJ in 03, one of the first things I did was have the cracked windshield replaced by Safelite. They used a 2001 XJ windshield because I liked the tint and also kept the original chrome moldings and clips. .
  8. Basic Hesco 4.6 stroker installed in 05, when they were still affordable, less than $3K installed. Still going strong and stronger after lots of bolt-on mods. You get what you pay for. Go to the strokers forum to read horror stories about the other builders, including the Mom and Pop shops. If you search real hard, you may find some good stories too. 1998xjome, you have a lot to learn grasshopper. http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=387

  10. We can only hope she kicks your azz if you do.
  11. pHOoey? Very clever. Like your phancy green valve cover.
  12. Maybe, but you have trouble with innovations. You live in the past, love it, and don't know how to make things better. That's why you love the Renix. If you have any problems, I'm always here to guide you.
  13. Just think how many $$ you would have saved if you didn't lose the bolt. I did the same thing with an AW4. Fished for the bolt for half a day with magnets until I got tired of it, pulled the distributor rotor, touched the START key, then PLINK. It dropped out through the inspection plate gap. No worries. Do you have the plastic piece that surrounds the CPS? I did, for awhile, thanks to you mate. Unfortunately it kind of crumbled up and fell in the hole and disappeared. 20+ year old plastic that thin just doesn't last.
  14. Meh. I junked all that vacuum crap and mounted the MAP on the throttle body where it should be. Too bad you can't do that on the Renix TB (easily) since the HOs and Renix use the same MAP sensor.
  15. You must live right to have luck like that Pete.................. Oh, wait! I know you don't live right.

  17. 93-01 will work.
  18. Sí, es malo. :( There goes your small window of time............
  19. yes, ring teeth divided by the pinion teeth. Did a little search and you could be right. Some early Mustangs had a 2.73 ratio. The lowest numerically I've seen available on the net for the 9" axle however is 3.00.
  20. You must mean 3.55 - no such thing as a Ford 2.55 ratio axle.
  21. MAP sensor is on the firewall behind the engine. The arrow points to the vacuum line that goes to the intake manifold. Image Not Found
  22. So you have never heard of Al Unser? Try googling it.
