  1. THANK GOD! Yep, chrome add-on works! I can see my photos in all my threads!
  2. Now THIS would be a blast in the snow! https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/1992-dodge-diesel-truck-with/6250610881.html
  3. Amen.
  4. We may never know, sadly, he hasn't signed on in over a year........ mpace6aMember Since 22 Sep 2011 OFFLINE Last Active Apr 14 2016 04:58 PM
  5. I think it's a GREAT use of a 'zuki body! Why not? Would prefer a flat black body with flames though..... that pink & purple motif is no bueno.
  6. Looking for a good-guy local there to possibly hook me up in buying a craigslist item and ship it to me. It's an antique, not real fragile, not a huge $$$ item, just something I collect. I can paypal you the funds first. Need the item sent back to me USPS. The seller is in the dark ages -no internet, will only sell face-to-face, cash only. PM me if you can help me out! Thanks in advance!
  7. Am I remembering incorrectly, or does anyone else here remember a thread by a member where he had posted photos of the remains of a '20's-'30's car he found buried in the creek bed on his property? I recall the OP saying he would return to dig it out at a later date.... wondered if he ever got back to it?
  8. Got mine yesterday....... EXCEPTIONAL quality! Nice size too, not a silly small pin. Came with a pair of the locking backers too. Nice work on these, but I would have preferred headlights not be yellow..... yeah I know, picky-picky.

    mj-curious?

From the photo, it would appear LOTS of birds have "posted" their opinion on the matter........ lol
  10. Ordered a black one.
  11. What's a warning gonna do for you? They'll keep your photos in your account, they just won't be linked anymore. It's simple extortion. Wanna keep the hosting they've been providing? Pony up $399/yr. No ifs, ands or buts. Photobucket posted a response to several angry blog posts on their website citing the changing trend in advertising based web business. They're blaming it on their service being overrun by ad blocker software keeping them from getting paid for the advertising hits they're not getting now. Not unlike having a DVR and fast forwarding through the commercials. It's why we're seeing product placement/plugs in our shows now. If they'd have told me it'd be $50, even $100 / year to keep up the unlimited hosting service, I'd pay it. But $400? That's robbery. The public damage this has done to the internet is MASSIVE. The inconvenience is MASSIVE. I sincerely hope Photobucket's revenue loss is MASSIVE.
  12. Hard for both me and my wife to believe this........... I'm down to just ONE single, solitary MJ. Just a short few years ago I had 13 of the damn things! The keeper being my little black '91 Eliminator. Time to get it built! Ok, well one and a half......... I still have my long bed MJ trailer...... :P
  13. That'd be pretty easy to duplicate with some threaded J-hooks and a length of C-channel steel.
  14. Gawd dammit! PB wants $400 a year to allow 3rd party posting. Fawkin greedy bastards. What does a person do now???? What's it take to host your own photos? Your own server?
  15. Oh dear lord no....... Been there, done that, hated it. I'd post a photo, but Photobucket is bringing the suck until I get time to download my stash and bail on 'em.
  16. "Car"? Thought this was a truck site........ :D
  17. I know I had 2 in the darker blue, one sold recently, I'll have to look to see if I still have the other one. If I do, I think the mounting tab under the trans shifter bezel was busted but you could fab a metal L bracket and rivet it to the bit that's left and make it work. (It might have that already done to it, can't remember if it's the blue or maroon one that has it.) I'll try to get over to storage and see what I have here sooner than later.
  18. Got the Uhaul running and sold it to a guy needing the 7.3 IDI for one of his tow trucks, and the box for storage at his tow yard. I'll PM you on the bumper cover/spoiler.
  19. Those that know me know of the obsession I had with XJ's and MJ's to the point that what I didn't flip, I parted out and horded the parts for both profit and personal use. All that started in '99 and grew into the need to have storage away from home. For years, this is where I kept my horde. Started at a reasonably $180/mo. Went to $200 and stayed there until last year when it went to $300 and then last month I get a letter that it was going to $400. Eff that. I had to get real with this and deal with the mess I'd gotten myself into. At it's height of horde-ness, my stash looked like this: Small parts in the 16' Uhaul I had aquired for dry storage. Body parts on the racks in the back and everything else in the beds and cabs or on the ground. This photo is 2 or more years ago when I started a slow liquidation. Prior to this, the tops of the trucks had stuff stored on them and you couldn't walk between the trucks without moving a bunch of stuff. At my peak, I had 13 MJ's at one time. Yep. 13. I had 5 at this lot, 6 at the house and 2 in another storage space for a couple months. Insanity. No more...... What "stuff" I still have is now crammed into a 40' shipping container and most of that is the hard to find MJ stuff or pieces for my remaining projects and my MJ trailer. The '46 Olds and trailer and one MJ are occupying a 37' RV space at the new storage lot where the rented container is. The '67 Cutlass, '64 Polara and '91 Eliminator are at the house where I can focus on getting those fixed / worked on. Kind of liberating actually........
  20. Just ordered: Fuel tank, gas cap, sending unit, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware kits, master cylinder. Couple weeks and this thing should be able to be road tested. The radiator has a small leak in one of the cores. Might try soldering it myself but likely to send it to a shop to get fixed and tested. The front suspension is pretty loose too, A full rebuild kit may be the next big order. Used some fishing line to stitch up the hanging headliner for now. I'll use one of the road test trips to go to an upholstery shop to get pricing for headliner replacement and some patch work on the seats and door panels to see if it'd be financially smart for me to do it or leave it for the next guy. Another road test trip will be to the exhaust shop and see what it'd cost to do a dual set up with long glass packs...... :D
  21. Congrats to you both! You two are working awfully hard at this move to Colorado...... hope you can take some time to kick back and relax sooner than later! Hit me up next time you're down in Denver.....
  22. Gotta love old school air shocks..........
  23. I was gonna ask the same question..... sneaky sneaky! Looked like you just goofed and slipped in 2 sections of tube. I think I'd prefer to be able to remove more of it for better access but maybe you gots toothpick arms and carnie hands...... lol. Nice work Ben, I dig the progress!
