Ok but once again, if the system is charged and you don't have working AC then something else is wrong. Now, you haven't explicitly stated this, but DOES YOUR AC WORK NOW? If it does, don't mess around with r12. Just use the vehicle, if its working now theres a better chance you will sell the Jeep before the R12 system needs work. If your ac doesn't work and it is charged then something else is wrong, it could be something easy that wouldn't require the system to be evacuated to fix it. Start with a systematic approach to fixing it, instead of jumping the gun right to a conversion.

If you get the choice, make it plenty deep(and wide too, though its usually easier to make it deep). Also, lots of light, lots and lots of light.

I don't think so, just from the tone of the article and everything I think it was more meant to show that in the city there are several of us who have chickens. The problem I have is that they specifically published our addresses, instead of just showing approximate locations or even street names.

Engine compartment light?
Sir Sam replied to Cdn Glenwood's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The light pulls out about 10 feet (?) and has a magnetic side to it so it can be attached to any metal part, kind off cool. Yup, probably the best factory underhood light ever. -
Theres nothing special about freeze 12, its r134a with a few other gasses mixed in. IMO just use r134a. To the OP, if the AC doesn't work now, then having the r12 evacuated and refilling with r134a won't fix it, something else is wrong, heck you might even be able to fix it and not have to charge it. Also, if you have the system discharged of r12 you will also need to have someone pull a vacumm on the system before you can refill it with r134a.

I know, I went out and secured my gates tonight(even though this came out a week ago and there isn't one new comment on it). Makes me feel like a registered sex offender or something.

A guy came by tonight doing a followup on an article from last monday's paper, I missed it so I didn't know what it was. Answered a few questions for him, showed him my chickens. So then I went and looked up the article: http://www.coloradoan.com/apps/pbcs.dll ... 9901050327 So ya, because I paid $30 for the chicken permit like I was supposed to(which is more than a dog license BTW), I now got my address posted in the paper........hope there is not someone out there who takes an issue with me having chickens and decides to come by. Better lock the gate tonight.

I visit a lot of different car forums, each one does its address differently, I can't necessarily remember that CC is .com/forums/ for example. AHHH...gotcha. I have never had that problem with IE. Tried FireFox for a short time, but it was a total pain in the ... Yes, depending on where you are browsing from, particularly a alien computer, you may not have flash installed, in which case you would also not have a bookmark with the forum index, or even be able to remember the forums are /forum/. For example, when viewing CC.com from my phone it is not flash enabled, meaning I have to google something in the forum before I can get into it. -

Ok, did a little bit of teardown and started looking at what it would take to get this 2500 header panel to fit. So as you can see the 2500 header fits back in a little bit: I measure 3.25" deep: And I measure 3.25" back from the leading edge of the hood. So basically the header is supposed to sit back flush against the front face of the "headlight bucket" so it looks like I will be trimming off that whole side piece where the fender bracket ties the fender to the "headlight bucket" with the ~.25" gap between the header panel and the hood I think that will be just about right. And semi naked: -
ew, get that thing OFF

Pretty sure that is part of the joke, but making it the same file for both makes it look like he made a mistake.

Dirty, we have what's called Uninsured Motor Vehicle coverage (it's optional here, but varies state by state) and your insurance company picks up the bill if you get hit. This you better have especially in a state like mine where motor vehicle insurance is not mandatory. Your insurance company will fix your vehicle if it's not your fault, then go after the idiot that hit you. It's happened a few times to us. :headpop: yup, we got the same thing. known too many people who got run into by mexicans without insurance.

Well if you use a 231 transfer case, pretty @#$%ing hard. If you use a 242 transfer case just as hard as switching it from 2wd, through 4wd, into awd(full time), while being carful not to shift too far into neutral or 4low. Or you could use a 249 transfer case, but I have not heard good things about those.
