Ok so the idea here is to get the most comprehensive thread of Jeep wheels here. Name, size, backspacing/offset, bolt pattern, year equipped, models equipped, and any other relevant info. This will be a thread that is continuously updated with better pics and photos as I find them. Feel free to contribute photos, correct misinformation/add information. Anything added will be verified and added to the main thread. At which time that information should be purged to keep the thread clean and without redundancy. Lets use this as a rough working template: Name: Size, Bolt Pattern, Backspacing Year(s) Originally Equipped/Models Originally Equipped SilverStars: 16"x7", 5x4.5", BS ? 1998 Grand Cherokee(ZJ) 5.9, 2000 Cherokee(XJ) Freedom, 2000 Cherokee(XJ) SE w/16" wheel package, 2001 Cherokee(XJ) 60th Anniversary Edition, 2000-2002 Wrangler(TJ) Sahara w/16" Wheel Package Eccos: 15x7", 5x4.5", BS? 1997-2001 Cherokee(XJ) Sport, 1997-1999 Cherokee(XJ) Classic Variations: Silver(Sport), Gunmetal(Classic), Bronze(Sport?) Yup. The FOBs cannot be programmed except via the DRB.

Hehehehe, check out this little thing I scored:
Sir Sam replied to Sir Sam's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I know on the 2.5 engines there is a switch on the power steering pump that bumps up the idle a few hundred RPM when turning the wheels near the stops to prevent stalling. Do the diesels have that setup? Or is that what you are calling the APPS circuit? No. The APPS is the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor. It is the drive by wire POT that controls the throttle on a diesel engine: -

Diesels don't have throttle plates. -
Mine too, done that plenty of times. Oujia board principle again.

Project CRD MJ is born:
Sir Sam replied to Sir Sam's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
I will use one switch for the heated mirrors, one for my foglights, probably leaving 2 extra light switches for accessory lighting. If my diesel ECU has a high idle option I may choose to enable that and get the stock high idle switch. -

Ya, 4 panel switch, defog, wipe, foglight, and high idle....its the way to go! though for the MJ I have no need for the wiper, and I will tie the defrost into the heated mirrors. this will give me mirror control, fogs, and two acessory fog circuits........ If I could find a way to get the high idle switch to work I would.......hmmm, I actually might be able to do that, if I tied it into the APPS circuit with the right voltage to trick the ECU to up the rpm.........hmmm, I think I could do that. -

Performance radiator for a 4cyl?
Sir Sam replied to Sir Sam's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have a 2 core radiator out of a 00, it will bolt into my 88 4cyl. The reason I am asking is because the 4 cyl radiator sits back further leaving more room for me to install my intercooler in front of radiator. I may not have enough clearance to install a intercooler in front of both the ac condensor and radiator and still have it sit behind the header panel. -
Does anyone make a radiator for the 4cyl MJs that is 2 or 3 core? All I have found is single core, AL/plastic end tanks.

Yeah thinking more about clear... I mean he!! who shoots acrylic anymore??? I do all the time. I like it too.. :teehee: But its harder to fix if you mess up. I wouldnt shoot it on anything custom or "nice" but it does take a beating.. But, theres other paints out there that take a beating better. And if you can't shoot acrylic to be glossy without runs stay away from it.. I can fix a run it poly before or after it dries,, but acrylic is a different story. Rich what plans do you have to paint this truck??? You going to spray it yourself? I like the smell :ack: I'm going to switch to urethane when I spray my CRD MJ. Figure its time to give it a try and I think it will buff down better than acrylic. /hijack

ok. It's been decided. "Project Peyote" is a go.

I wish my lawn was EMO so it would cut itself.

Yes, pushes to the rear. I know it has two pumps(windshield/rear window), I am asking if either of them work for two reasons: 1: it may not be the pump that is the problem. 2: if the pump is the problem an easy way to get working front washers would be to switch the hoses around
-
Like the shell, thats exactly the kind I want for my MJ. Dunno where I am going to find it.................(soft crying noises)
-
do either of the pumps work? there are two, one for the front and one for the rear.

OK, 4 1/2 years old :D Yes, have looked at some of the WK's :thumbsup:but the wife only wants a local vehicle :wall: CRDs did not start shipping untill February of 2005 in the US. Thats barely 4 years old now, at the oldest.

CRD's are not big in this area, and when one comes around it brings top $$$ and goes fast. Last crd I seen in the area was 5yrs old and going for $12,300 and had around 120,000 miles on it. New 09 CRV can be had for 22,800. Have looked at some on line, but the last time I flew to FL and got a car we had a lot of problems with it, so that is out ;) It could not have been 5 years old. KJ CRDs were only sold in 2005 and 2006. CRDs are not big in any area, simply because of the numbers sold. It's a great little setup, but if you want one you need to be willing to drive a day to get it. Check ebay, they usually go pretty cheap there. I saw several Brand new 07 WK CRDs in michigan(like a days drive for you) that were selling for 22-23k. They were old inventory that was finally being sold off. Those were some sweet deals.

or colorado, new mexico, arizona, utah.......

liberty crds can be had for a little more than 10k these days. Near new grand Cherokee crds can be had for mid 20's these days. How doe that compare to the crvs you are looking at?
