  1. I know a girl named Shelby.
  2. Those newer gauges look so much better, IMO one of the classyst and easy to use/read layouts ever. The 97+ XJs have the same layout, but the green on black just isn't as classy as the red and black.
  3. Correct, but its nice to know what the OEM MT springs were rated at for comparison with new aftermarket springs these days.
  4. I've never heard anything bad about it, seems decent enough, other than a lack of aftermarket support(compared to the 44), so why is the AMC20 desireable for a MJ? Also, whats the WMS to WMS of a MJ AMC20?
  5. Exactly, everyone is "Oh I'm interested. How much?" Then when the check comes "Oh I think I will pass." Cash up front, I won't be left holding the bag, and neither should you.
  6. Ok so here is another question, what are the the MT springs rated for? 2200lbs total?
  7. Actually its just a matter of being able to turn screws and unplug plugs. Then replug plugs and turn screws the other way.
  8. Different mounting points on the floor, with a little bit of steel, a welder and some fab time it would be easy enough to swap them over.
  9. Mine look the exact same as those.....2wd with dana 35 rear.
  10. Exactly, rather than old diesels where the fuel injection was completely mechanical in nature(from timing and duration, all controlled mechanically via the IP(injection pump)), which had equal length lines running to each cylinder to an injector nozzle, this system uses electric injectors just like MPFI gassers, with a high pressure common rail feeding all the injectors(like 23,000psi high pressure). The next generation of 2.8L VM engine uses piezoelectric injectors and even higher pressures, something on the order of 36,000psi or so(currently sold in the KK overseas) More like Italian :fool:
  11. Whoa.....AMC20 MJs had the MT springs......dang, I passed up a set of those at the junkyard then..... arg, I need to see if its still there!
  12. Jesus, these guys need someone with some experience with electronics. I was just SCREAMING at them the whole time I was reading that. (ya I'm perfect and never let the smoke out, so I get to cast the first e-stone)
  13. This was a real nice unit to donate drivetrain and interior to update it: sold for $1100: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close
  14. yes, premature baldness ensues.
  15. Easy enough option to specify, Jeep lets you select it online now for the JK.
  16. Sir Sam

    Divorced MJ

Man, I swore this thread was longer.
  17. Exactly: This XJ sold for $300 today: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close This one sold for $1200: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close This one sold for $500: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close this one sold for $950: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close Any one of those(except for the first) would make for a very nice donor to swap into a clean MJ body. Upgrade to nice new interior(last one has nice leather seats) new engine, transmission, stronger rear end, 4wd front.
  18. looks like they ran into something: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... tion=Local
  19. Looks good, I always liked the chrome grills on the 97+ Jeeps, plus, I think chrome looks good against black. x2 on seeing the brackets and such for the s10 bumper, it looks pretty good and not out of place on the MJ. Plus I cannot find a good condition MJ bumper and I need to replace the junk on there now.
  20. Hey now.... My seatbelts don't adjust.... Whats the deal.... What is that a XJ??? All 97+ XJs have those seat belts. And apparently at least 95+ export models.
  21. Says the man who uses the metric system.
  22. hahahaha, nope
  23. Lame:
  24. Better project jeeps all over the place.
