Hmmm, well, how old is the battery? Any idea why it was dead in the first place?

Much better. Willy ah good, here, nws: http://75.71.126.87/ann1.jpg http://75.71.126.87/ann2.jpg http://75.71.126.87/ann3.jpg http://75.71.126.87/ann4.jpg

Yup, the books where kickass, I think the "lost world" is still one of my favorite books, way better than jurassic park. I've got the sudden urge to watch that now. Sphere was a good book, the movie, not so much, I think that is just a book that doesn't translate well into a movie. I still need to read timeline and the congo.

That is the 242 Transfer case.

Whats more important is how many amps the battery can put out, it can show full voltage, but not be able to output enough current to keep the jeep running.

Everything I've read points to the switch from 260x to 297x u-joints occurring some time in '96. Willy Pre 96 with ABS had the 297x u-joint

Yup, thats pretty much the way I would do it, cut them about an inch longer than you need, and fold the extra over.

Same thing happens to me when the battery is low on charge, at high idle the Alt puts out enough current to keep the Jeep running despite a low battery. How do you know the battery was truely charged when you were able to start it? Usually for me this means running the engine at high RPM for a few minutes and allowing the battery recharge, then everything is right and good in the world again. This does not seem representative of a bad PCM.

Its a good price, it accurately reflects the minor damage, overall dirty/"used" condition, and the miles. Looks like with elbow grease and a little time invested in it it could be cleaned up and be pretty nice again.

Actually, I probably would call her a dog...at least the female version. :D An over privileged one at that, who has no concern for others. That dog you can keep. Willy Wow, sounds like Ms. Berry has personally wronged you our your family... over privileged or not, I'd would hit that like a fat kid hitting the all you can eat desert bar... I can't stand criminal celebrities who get off easy. But, even before she was a criminal, I never understood what her appeal was. Willy

yup, and you can see that the wipers are also going to the opposite side(like if it were RHD) For any of you LOST fans you'll note that any scenes shot in australia simply have US vehicles with the image flipped right to left.

your first upgrade should be to convert it to 4 wheel drive.

I've found that works best when it is electrified.

Agreed, alcohol and tobacco are both harmful to the body. Twinkes ain't too great either. Its a personal choice matter, IMO.

Making it legal will stop the smuggling. For example, Hornbrod driving into the next town for a 12 pack. If Arab had liquor by the drink he wouldn't be "smuggling" it in. Not if it's more expensive than the smuggled stuff. People still smuggle cigarettes across state lines. :dunno: The difference is that I won't buy weed if its illegal. A guy I went to high school with (who also prolifically grew weed) would be able to sell me some and pay taxes just like any other business. Legalized alcohol sure does go a long way to cutting down on moonshine. Moonshine is way cheap, but how many people do you think buy it because its cheaper? Making it legal will stop the smuggling. Now when you get big business involved where the joints are like cigarettes, then I can see going out of town to get a bag, or carton, or whatever. I still think hemp should be legal... Not for smoking but for the 9.9 X 10^10Y uses it has.. I have smoked weed, don't anymore, but even the seed is useful. More useful then the soybean even. I am very for legalization of Hemp... Hemp for victory!!!! (google that) There are many uses of the hemp plant, it is very hardy and grows easily, everything from biodiesel to paper. Great socialized weed. That would be good if they could find a way to measure it on the spot. I would rather my kids smoke weed than drink alcohol. Around here they do a piss test on the spot (which is later processed and recorded) which can lead to a DWI/DUI. If you are so stoned that you are not even lucid you pretty much get pulled in on the spot (and then later piss tested) still not as instant as a BAC/breathalyzer test though. Really though, anyone can make the analogy of prohibition, we are all very critically aware of the result of that "social experiment" the same thing applies to Marihuana use. Ya sure, weed is a gateway drug, and so is alcohol and tobacco.........what's your point?
