Mine do the same when outside temperature go under 0'F. I have to be patient with the shifting. When the trans warm up the shifting go easier You could use synthetic oil that could help.

Been there done that. Lower the trans. with a jack With a ratchet and a couple of extension you can unscrew the CPS with a TORX socket. Buy mine new from Dealership.

Maybe you have water in your gaz. Because of 1/4 tank, i am use to keep 1/2 tank and more to avoid that problem. :idea: You could put a some Gaz LIne

Maybe, it's your ignition switch. Check at the bottom of steering colum.

You have to know, the mounting brackets are different, MJ/XJ. Look at the DIY section.

If your are lucky, your leak is outside the transmission. My truck is 4x4: -To drop the transmission 3hres (2 guys) - To rebuild it about 2 hres New parts - New bearing - New Clutch - New Slave - New Hose - Transmission from a Cherokee (1990) - DOT 5.0 - New master cylinder

I came forward the same problem in october. No inside firewall leak from the master cylinder. A lot of oil dripping from the bell housing. My problem was an exploder slave cylinder. I have to fill up the reservoir every 3-4 hours We dropped the tranny and changed the cylinder.

If your clutch is internal, you will have to drop the tramsmission.
