Red 1989 MJ

Any suggestion where to buy the right gearing ?

I just bought a 1990 4.0l MJ auto. 4x4 long bed for parts. I want to swap the D44 to my truck. My truck is a MJ 1989 4.0l AX-15, short bed. Could somebody tell me if auto and manual have different differentiel gear ratio?

You have a copper tab on the e-brake pedal under the dash. The circuit will stay open if your e-brake pedal is not height enought. :D

We made this little repair, you will need a multimeter and patience. :D You have to pull out the fuel pump unit, the sending unit is attache with it. You could do it without dropping the tank. Diagnotic: - Could be a connection,You will see a wire attached to a rivet, check for the contact. - If not working, You will open the little plastic cover of the sending, you will see a coil of wire. Check the coil for any wire cut(variable resistance). The reading should be between 0-95 ohms. I think: 95 ohms for empty 0 ohm for full Good luck :waving: PM me if you need more info

These covers are for the cab ventillation. You can pull them out. :D

You can use the part from a XJ from the same year. The pressure bottle is the same. :thumbsup:

You could leave the PB work a couple days and retry. You could heat the bolt. You could also drill it and make new thread. :oops:

So the week-end was good for my MJ. :D We put A new Cherry Bomb Turbo + Cat.. It's sound great with low bass and louder sound at 3000 rpm. I am very happy. :rotf:
