    When we did mine, its was hard at the beginning to break the strap holding the cylinder. :idea:

    Because the stud was not broken flush with the frame, we welded a threaded bolt at the end without head.

    Mine is 1989 4.0,4x4, ax-15, np-231 about 200000miles Painted last winter, I will start my project soon, just finish the transmission swap this spring.

    You can check on the DIY section for the electrical manual, to help you. :smart: If I my memory is right, the ground behind the driver taillight are used for lights and the fuel pump. You could check the connector for corrosion. :dunno: The blue wire is for the night light & the plate light.

    If it's clean, go Make a little rust inspection. - surface rust - under carpet floor rusted I bought mine last year(2008) for $1000 CAN

    Yes, you have to take out the seat and the carpet. :smart: The cable leave the cab approximatively in the rear middle.

    :hmm: Inside: The master cylinder have a bad history of leaking in the fuse box. You could check under the dash on the firewall for leak around the clutch linkage. Outside: You will find some oil on the pavement. With an enternal clutch problem, you will find oil dripping from the bell housing.
