  1. I'm in northeastern WI.
  2. I have the pump and the steering box. Both from a 87 Comanche 2.5. $50 for the gear and $25 for the pump plus shipping and the gear is heavy.
  3. Thanks. I'll check that out.
  4. Did you use the 46003 or the 46004?
  5. I have a 1987 Comanche and it says this part will not fit. Is there one that will fit an 87?
  6. I run 215/70/R15 Radial TA's on my 87 Comanche with the same driveline as your truck. They're on the factory alloy wheels. Been on the truck for over 30 years. Not the same tires the whole time.
  7. Sounds like the wire to the horn is grounded somewhere.
  8. So is this just for the 4.0 and not the 2.5?
  9. I had the same problem on my fog lights.
  10. I'm glad you clarified that I didn't get that from the previous posts.
  11. CPS is crank position switch correct?
  12. There was a guy on this site that was looking into getting rear slider windows made.
  13. I made my slots wider with a Dremel.
  14. I traced the hoses today and the one that goes to the VAC port does indeed go to the intake manifold in a round about way and the other ports hose goes through the firewall into the cab.
  15. I blew into both ports. The one labeled VAC must have the check valve because I could not blow into it. The smaller port I could blow into. So why is the port that I could not blow into labeled VA? I haven't traced out the hoses yet.
  16. The port with the larger rubber hose attached is labeled VAC. Is that the port that has the check valve in it? The smaller left port had a plastic hose to it.
  17. Is there a way to test this vacuum canister to see if it works correctly? Thanks.
  18. You could send it in and get it analyzed.
  19. Not the one you have for the 4.0 The manual says that adjustment of the fuel pressure regulator is necessary after a replacement has been installed. some models didn't have the pressure test fitting on the throttle body but the fitting PN8983 501 572 could be obtained from the parts Dept. I don't know how we're supposed to adjust it now.
  20. This diagram is from the TBI manual. It looks like the factory had some sort of fitting to set fuel pressure. I don't know if this helps or would you like an actual picture of my throttle body?
  21. Anything for a Renix 2.5?
  22. My tabs were broken. I just used a bead of silicon around the perimeter of the light and stuck it to the panel. You can still remove it if needed by sliding a utility knife around the edge.
  23. I replaced my manifold gasket and while the manifolds were off I stripped and painted the manifolds. I ground off the spot welds on the heat shield and found my exhaust manifold was cracked. Might want to check yours while you have it off
  24. Post an add in the wanted section. I'm sure someone has a parts truck they could get one from.
