  1. The ECTED is Auburn's electric locker. Willy
  2. Looks great!! Good work!! One thing I would do, is to cut/drill access hole for the rear most bed bolt. You may have no plans not to remove the bed. But its easy to make that hole now. Could be a pain if you need to do it with everything mounted to the truck. CW Is that what that hole is for immediately behind that bolt on the bottom of the frame rail? Willy
  3. Personally I am not a fan of red. Partially because it seems like the majority of TJs and YJs all seem to be red. :shake: It even seemed to infiltrate way too many MJs. If you are going to repaint the entire thing may as well go with something different. I liked the oranges you posted, but even something less flashy like blue would be better than red. Willy
  4. That makes more sense. Willy
  5. Very nice! :clapping: Willy
  6. I'm pretty sure it would be TF (Torque Flite - Chrysler). I think TH is short for Turbo Hydramatic - GM. Willy
  7. I'm guessing that is the 4 cylinder which I am not familiar with. But, is that dryer vent ducting in place of a lower radiator hose? Willy
  8. You listed it right there. Everything needs to be swapped. The computer and electronics are completely different. Willy
  9. Looks good. What's in the background on NDTs? Willy
  10. Are you referring to the TJ tank? I am pretty sure they were somewhere around 15 gallons. Willy
  11. Got any interior pics of the cage? Thanks, Willy
  12. The retarded lots around here call them canopies. :fool: Willy
  13. Try the first post on the first page. Willy
  14. The wiring is different on '97+ XJ AW4s. It will not plug in to the connectors from your '88. I don't know if you can swap over the sensors from the '88 to the '97. I don't think there would be any problem with the NSS, but I have no idea with the other wiring bundle. There also is no separate transmission computer, it is controlled by the ECU. This would prevent you from swapping over all the transmission electronics from the '97 to the '88. Willy
  15. The benefits far outweigh the drawbacks of drop brackets. Yes, they hang lower. So what? I've drug my RE brackets across multiple rocks. It will take a pretty hard hit to do much more than scratch the paint on them. Willy
  16. I've been looking into options for replacing the stock steering and came across the JB 4x4 raised steering bracket. The pictures on their site aren't the best so I requested a few larger ones. Looks fairly well built. Do the attachment points look strong enough? See any reason to be afraid of this? Thanks, Willy
  17. Nice. Willy
  18. Your rear axle is a D35. Willy
  19. '89 would be a D44. The AMC 20 is perfectly round from the back and the cover is smooth - no protrusion sticking out for the ring gear. Willy
  20. yea that bumper looks pretty good X3 . Should grab that, and the rear flares, cab vents, bed liner,etc..What color is the interior? I already took the flares. The interior is black. Willy
  21. Very nice. You may want to consider adding a piece to the inside of this bracket to catch the bolt on the bottom of the frame rail. Should help with any side loads from a tug from behind. Willy
  22. No, sway bar disconnects were not an option on XJs. Willy
  23. Yes, you shouldn't even have to ask, buy it! Willy
  24. I always imagined 44 ft tires would be bigger. :hmm: If anybody is looking for a good example of what NOT do when building a vehicle, here is the build thread for that turd. Take a look at the build thread. That blue XJ is completely wrong. There is nothing proper about it. :fool: Willy
  25. Ranch Hand. Willy
