As good a place as any I suppose ...
Don't know what it's like at your zip code, but it could go up 30 degrees here and it would still be freezing (and windy and snowy). Live, Freeze and Die.
That notwithstanding, when I left work tonight I lifted the wiper arms on my 01 XJ to clear to the frozen crust. When I released the passenger side wiper arm, the wiper blade didn't sit flat agaist the windshield. I thought it was frozen, and as I don't have a garage I stopped at a local do-it-yourself carwash to inspect it in the light and out of the wind. The arm just kinda flops. There's tension on spring, but only the ends of the wiper blade make contact.
Which brings me to my question ...
Anyone know how to release the wiper arm from the shaft? It's just too damn cold to be futzing with it out in the yard.
As a side note ... it was so frickin' cold that only the passenger side squirter worked, so the ride home was no fun at all. ugh.
