  1. Ahhh ... but that's not the end of the story. Will the MJ live happily ever after? Where'd you trade it and did the dealership plan to wholesale it, or put it on their lot?
  2. Probably should have asked before I cross posted your ad on ComancheClub, but thought it would get you a little more visibility. Good luck with the sale.
  3. This guy's trying hard ... posts it every day on CL. http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/3757184489.html
  4. No offense intended to our fellow CC member. I have more time than money, so revitalizing a used pair is more likely for me. There's a recent thread that details how to restore taillights. Haven't tried it yet, and want to spare my existing taillights from harm of experimentation. Might try it on something else first.
  5. You'd think it was 9mm ammo ... hard to find and over priced. Starting bid $50/40 for a pair with standard shipping $54??? http://www.ebay.com/itm/jeep-comanche-tail-lights-/140953929794?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AJeep%7CModel%3AComanche&hash=item20d1824842&vxp=mtr#ht_22wt_917 http://www.ebay.com/itm/jeep-comanche-tail-lights-/140953931714?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20d1824fc2&vxp=mtr#ht_22wt_917 NOS Passenger side $299.99 ... really? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeep-MJ-Comanche-NOS-Mopar-Original-Tail-Light-1986-1992-Passengers-Side-RARE-/190822827471?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c6ded45cf&vxp=mtr#ht_320wt_679 $124.99 per side, but shipping is free. 6. I picked up an entire new, pre-97 header panel assembly for my last MJ on eBay for less than $100. It included chrome headlight doors and grille. You can buy the same for 97-01 for a cheap conversion. I'll include a link. With shipping it's less than $150 and includes the header panel, chrome grille and headlight doors, amber marker and directional lenses. The header panel is injection molded plastic, so you can shape the corners to meet the flattened body lines of the pre-97 XJ/MJ fenders. http://www.ebay.com/itm/170567029165?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
  7. It's on ebay with a diffferent set of wheels. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1990-Jeep-Comanche-Pioneer-2WD-only-65K-orig-miles-2WD-4-0-6-cylinder-/151016697292?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item23294bedcc
  8. Wow, they look new! Curious about the DupliColor clear though ... does it indicate it can be used on plastic? I'm just wondering how long it will hold up. I suppose time will tell. I recently saw an ad for a Mothers Headlight Restoring Kit. Blue foam on a post that you put in a drill. Anyone try it on taillights yet?

  10. It's listed on eBay too. A few more pictures and details. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Jeep-comanche-Pioneer-4x4-auto-shortbed-/281076970852?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid=111000&algo=REC.CURRENT&ao=1&asc=27&meid=6181213276393085996&pid=100033&prg=1011&rk=2&sd=151010733659&&forcev4exp=true
  11. 87 MJ Pioneer ... manual transmission, 4x4. http://annapolis.craigslist.org/ctd/3655407358.html
  12. Wow, you're right, it is! I didn't notice 'cause the sun was in my eyes.
  13. I could make mine look like that for 20K. I never looked at the price when I posted it here ... just thought I'd share it with everyone. You know how it goes ... You take your MJ to the store, you park as far away from the entrance as you can, so you can stare at it while you're walking back to it.
  14. Nicely done ... Just a thing of beauty. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Collectors-Classic-Car-Clean-4x4-Custom-Off-Road-Lifted-/140921195299?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item20cf8ecb23

A guy shows up for a psych appointment wearing nothing but clear cling film around his waist. The nurse says, "I can clearly see you're nuts".
  16. Fugly. 'nuff said.
  17. Those were posted on eBay by one of our own.
  18. Needs a rear bumper and the clearcoat is shot (as usual), but here's a good'n. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Comanche-Pioneer-Pkg-unbelievable-and-all-original-/281065243394?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4170cb4302
  19. It's a "thing" of beauty.
  20. It's got to be cheaper than $250 to have one chromed.
  21. Looks good ... could be the right money too. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-Jeep-Comanche-Base-Standard-Cab-Pickup-2-Door-2-5L-Sportruck-Auto-/300858092941?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item460c8a2d8d

  24. An unsolicited testimonial ... I bought one from Steve's eBay listing a couple years ago (my eBay user name is ManchesterUSA). The headliner looked excellent, installed it by myself in a little over an hour and best of all, it was holding up really nice when I sold the truck. Unfortunately, no pics. The guy who bought the truck commented because the many trucks he'd looked at, all had missing or destroyed headliners.
  25. Have ya ever noticed that most of the low mileage MJ's you see are UGLY colors.
