I went through 3 Xbox 360s before I got sick of messing with all the hassle and sold it. Now I will be getting a PS3 or Wii since most systems no longer have exclusive titles anymore anyways. Until 360 gets an exculsive game that I have to have I will not buy another, and I don't see one coming out anytime soon. Not a Halo fan so don't bother saying that that is why I need one. My 3rd 360 got the ring of death on an audio cd... I think that states how poor it was made. Alex

These were offered in the XJ Waggys for sure, I never knew them to come in anything else. I have one left of all the ones I yanked out of old XJ Waggys from all the yards around Ohio. All I did was get the sensors and stuff from Napa. The one for the windshield washer fluid and coolant and stuff is easy to install. The ones for the axles and whatnot have to be drilled and tapped and everything so I would not find those worth the effort. The one I have left Jeepco already has dibs on. If you see a XJ Waggy in a yard go take a look. I found those along with overhead counsels and lighted vanity mirrors in most. All of which went into my 91 Elim. Alex

Nah, been too caught up in other stuff. And with it being 2wd I didn't feel it was worth the trip through all that mess of driving. Alex

Central Ohio eh? Might be making a trip, mind sending me the name/location of that place, Pete? Alex

I would, and I bet I know someone else who would... *thumbs at Jeepco*, but I am getting an entire black interior with my new 86 so I don't need to. The black bench I am getting for my 86 is from an 88, no headrests either. Did the benches have headrests? All the MJ benches I have seen didn't even have spots for em. Alex

Mine works, but most the time its not in the ignition when I forget em. And I am so use to the buzzer I don't notice it, its from working on it all the time with the doors open and the ignition turned on so i can listen to music while working on it in a barn that blocks all radio signals but that to my jeep. H*ll, my headlight buzzer works and i leave those on too. Alex

I have done this so many times I have lost count.... okay, its like around 9 times within the last 3 months. <<.>> First time I broke the vents that hardly worked anyways, stuck in the non-vents that i had from my 86... after that it was all down hill since the back window latches tight still. I always lock my doors now ever since my xplod got stolen, i just don't always remember to remove the keys. Alex

I LOVE my Flowmaster 40 on my 91, and most others will tell you it sounds great. In fact there was a topic on this awhile ago and he came to the conclusion that the 40 sounded the best with all the sound clips that were posted. i forget who it was that started it though... My 86 I am getting will be getting a 40 thrown on it, even with the 2.8. Not sure if i will true dual this 86 though or just split it after the 40... Alex

Since I am feeling sick today I'm pretty sure nothing will beat that, so that just made my day. :rotfl2: Alex

The anthrax guy must have a manche also if he sent you stickers rather then anthrax. XD Sometimes the simplest ways to mail something is the best, yet you can't buy packages like that. Alex

Thanks. The grille has been completed since that pic. Found some brand new chrome 91 style headlight doors and fixed it so it looked better. Had to mod it all to work with that 86 grille. Alex

Well, it looks nice. There is only the outside image of it. Smurf blue Pioneer model. I might go look at it, but I will not be paying what they want for it... $2,950. Alex

I have an old Stomper, it is an 80s J-Truck with the square headlights that lightup. It is red and have "decals" on the sides and the "Jeep" tailgate. Also have a bull bar and roll bar. The semi trucks were REALLY cool cause they were 6wd. Alex
-
So thats why everyone wanted my 91 Eliminator. And that 92 was in Columbus... Ohio? Man, if only I had know, I was down there almost all weekend and its only like 1hr away. Alex

WOOT!! Welcome back Joe. You've missed a ton of stuff... well, not really. Just the usual MJ dilemmas. You might be surprised to know, unless Pat already broke it to ya, I'm trading the 91 for an 86 X, almost the same as the one you got off me. Finish getting well man, that time of year is coming around when it is fun to drive these old things. And that is just what the doctor ordered. Alex

I like Eagle's preservation "Save the MJ" way of life. Me, I just keep getting new ones and passing the old ones on after messing around with em for a bit... even if that means going back to a 2.8L from a 91 Elim. Alex

will these taillights work on my comanche?
GirsMJ86 replied to Beachbum1236's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
As far as I know, Cherokee taillights will not fit in Comanches. Or at least not fit in without mods. Plus Comanche taillights are also the turn signals, so you would have to rewire to make it so the turn signal part of those were only turn signals and the brake part was only brake/running light parts. Alex -
I would defantly think it would just have to be "Jeeps" in general. There are not enough MJs left in the states, and of the one that are we only have a limited amount on the club.... Plus those of us with 2.8s might not make the trip. Alex

It would be cooler if it actually looked like the MJ rather then a pickup version of the Commander. Looks too boxy and the hood/front look weird. Alex

Where do you guys get your parts?
GirsMJ86 replied to A-man930's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Not much if any MJ after market stuff out there. XJ stuff will only work from the rear of the doors forward. The rear door jam back I don't know of anywhere that has those parts. Most the time you have to come up with your own, see if the deal can get it from some storage lot somewhere, or go to a JY. Alex -
XJ overhead console in a MJ
GirsMJ86 replied to eacomanche88's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2001&start=45 There is right after I wired it up. Since then I have gotten a complete OHC and trimmed it a bit longer so it fits the entire cab. Cut it right before the rear lights so it has both brackets. And since my headliner still is not made it sits behind my seats and one that is JUST the gauge part is mounted to the metal that the visors are on. Alex -
That's why you coat the underside of the truck with herculiner too. That can still cause issues since you can't get it fully covered, like where the frame is up against the body. If you want to rhino line the inside, leave the bottom uncoated so you can keep an eye on it, or take it to get undercoated every few years by ziebart or whatever its called. Alex
-
I have always just used Por-15 and fiberglass sheets to fix the rust and holes... was going to rhino line till I heard horror stories. You rhino line it then it starts to rust from the underside and your floor is gone yet again before you even know it. Just a sort of heads up warning. Alex

We had a topic up not long ago on T-Shirts. I still have all the pics that I chopped together to make all the different shirts. Seems to me that the one with the "Easy to be a truck. Hard to be a Jeep" truck image on the back was the one that got the best reaction. Then of the CC logo on the front. Alex
