Been painting for several years. One of the things I like to do, is to do all the work myself when I restore or mod vehicles. If i don't know how to do something, I learn. Painting is not difficult, just a ton of manual labor sanding and such. Yes there is an art to the actual paint application, and I recommend at the very least to spen some time around the pros. Sometimes you can volunteer at a bodyshop and pick up on some tips. that is how I learned. Gotcha thanks I was just wondring

Is this your first time every painting? If so how hard was it?

extra horses = more horsepower (or torque) , feed = gas, letting them sing = exhaust make different 'sounds' lol -
Renix 4.0 To 4.2 Stroker Questions
92tanMJ replied to big66440's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Oh Ive heard the gas mileage is worse that stock. Maybe its because youve got all of those extra horses to feed and the people driving and reporting back like to let them sing. I don't know. But I do know that why people go with 4.2s and stuff is because one theyre a lot cheaper to make. I think if I remember correctly if you do good 4.7 I think youre looking at least 2000 to do it? don't quote me on that thats just the number I can remember. But like they always say there is no replacement for displacement. -

Huh? Sorry that was a late night typing. Let me translate that out of dumb @$$ talk for you haha my bad. The only issue was that the water puddled in the bed. Once the tailgate was put down the water did not puddle anymore. Even though there was a puddle of water for a few days the carpet in my bed, which is actually the cab carpet, was still dry. -

Hmmm no 92 when I used one of the self decoders it worked and everything checked out. I also changed it to a one, my mom texted me that code so it could be wrong I guess? You can get 'em at menards for like 25 bucks. Water/snow/uv/all of that protectant. Seems to be good quitly my brother had one on his car and it lasted all through the Ohio fall/winter And there been one on my Mj since Mid march and we that freak snow storm and then a bunch of rain and my carpet is actually in the bed..long story lol...but I had my brother go out and check on it and other than a hug puddle of water my carpet was completely dry. But I told him to leave the tailgate down and to cover it back up and it pretty much fixed that problem. Hope it helps. -
