  1. Is this a Renix thing? Because I'm like 99% sure my 92 doesnt have one. Is there any I can get it so water is always flowing through it? I like the idea of it not clogging up! haha
  2. One day I'm going to learn (finish learning) how to play. I really can't wait for you to finish this all up! I really want to know how the dye turns out! Mine arent bad but after 21 years and 200k miles she's really starting to show her age. Hopefully I can get a tip or two from you!
  3. Nice Pete! I think those rims need to be black rather than white!
  4. Get old 79 ish Tbird coils, theyll ride pretty good, a little stiffer spring rate not bad though and they net at about 4.5. I'm running them on my XJ
  5. What he said ^ did this give you 3/4" lift over factory? Because that would look at perfect with 3/4" in the rear and 2" lift in the front. Let alone a stiffer rear because mine droops why down with me just sitting in it lol
  6. I was wondering the same thing  If it is possible you probably would have to pull the entire regulator and tracks from the XJ I'm not sure how the window cranks work with a manual window.. But mine are crappy I wouldnt mind changing them out.
  7. I stand corrected see below vVv
  8. Lol I was think that thing looked kinda nice. Damn Ohio. The trucks here seem to be worst compared to everyone else
  9. You might as well get in on that group buy for military wrapped springs. It may be worth your time
  10. Lookin' good! Whats the part number or do you have a link to them?
  11. Any other hijack, Ive heard you can pull out the little smokers windows and use the whole door glass from a 98+ and it will work? Anyone ever heard of this or tried it?
  12. Mine has that rake effect from the factory, I personally think its ugly and wish mine didnt have it Maybe instead of lowering it, you just need new rear leafs?
  13. Still working my mj record sucks balls. But my xj's record is good! it got a 80!
  14. Thanks man will do! Thats what I was thinking but I wasnt sure! Thanks!
  15. Hmmm well I'll have to look at it tomorrow. I don't remeber seeing anything like that..
  16. Yeah, I mean I'm pretty sure. At least the PO said it was, and theres even the 'white milky stuff' on the dipstick. Thats one of the reasons why I'm doing the test. to get a better understand of whats wrong with it. By CPS I'm going to guess crankshaft position sensor? Where is the easiest place to get to that?
  17. I used the duplicolor paint for plastic stuff on my xj and it turned out pretty darn good, Ill get the pictures later for ya
  18. Well I think I might be dumb because I couldnt figure out how to pull it out and then it started to rain so I gave up and went inside... :fs1:
  19. So I was just scrolling through threads on where that stupid little buzzer is and how to remove it. But man that is a good idea!!
  20. Nooby question time! I'm home for the weekend and I'm going to do a compression test tomorrow on my mj, but I have a few questions as this is my first time ever doing one. So they say to run the engine for 20 or so minutes to let it warm up is it okay to do this with a bad head gasket? --But they I mean them here: http://troubleshootmyvehicle.com/jeep/4.0L/how-to-test-engine-compression-1 Where is the fuse for the fuel pump? Or can I just unplug the injectors? (electrical plug, not remove) And any random advice for me?
  21. Thank you for your service Shelby! God bless you and your family!
  22. Hahah think just Jim, shelby, needs to post and a few other people but I think that would be everyone I was thinking of. Lol no but seriously this is probably one of the most helpful forums I've ever been on
  23. I would just like to say thank you, for everything this forum has, does and I think will continue to do. If some says something stupid no one is a douche about it. I know Ive asked and some dumb things already on here. lol You all will have to forgive me as I will continue to do so. I'm only human. I'm new to Mj and manuals. Ive had an Xj for two years and before that I didnt know a lick about anything automotive. And its been from helpfully people like you all that help and teach others like myself. I can't wait to dive into my Mj this summer and learn about it. With you all experienced will help me along the way. But I digress. Ive been on a prominent xj forum for about 2.5 years now and since then I have seen it start become a dump with all of its douche baggery. But anyways I know only like 15 of you will see this because you like me love Jeeps, are on here at least twice a day, and post on everything you can give your input into on the chance that maybe it could help someone. And to you I would like to say thank you for not being a douche bag and sharing your experience and knowledge with others! Again thank you, -Zack H. Dayton, OH.
  24. Thanks man and if I do find a bull bar around here Ill pick it up for ya!
