Thanks for the info. It looks as if I am going to have to SPRING for the 4.5" lift! ...suspension humor...hehehe! :yes: So...is the RE's 4.5" lift better than Motion's? There is a scary message on the RE wesite concerning having to purchase additional items to make the kit fit: That is a message that does not appear on Motion's website. Thanks again! :cheers: Paul I'm sure someone smarter than me will reply about the SYE/CV on MJ's, but I have a feeling that RE used a Copy and Paste on their webpage from one of their Kits where 4.5" makes it a virtual necessity for a SYE/CV (Like on a TJ)... If you do a search for Slip Yoke on here, I don't think you will see many people talking about them for anything under 6-7" of lift on an MJ...

I beat the crap out of mine with a Dead Blow Hammer... for like 3 days before it finally popped off....Pass. Side I finally got off... the Drivers Side, I never did...took the Hub/Rotor/Shaft all out at the same time...

Pretty Sweet! I'm liking this one, just don't like the price tag (I have Hanson Front and Rear on my TJ...)

Nor sure if there is anyone in the Central Valley NorCal area, but a bunch of guys from my local Club (SC4WDC.COM) are going to be doing a cleanup day at Hollister Hill SVRA OHV Park in Hollister, CA next Saturday, Sept 27th. Plan is to clean a few trails, pick up some trash, do a few runs, have a BBQ in the late afternoon and have a few brews... I'm very likely going to take the MJ since I'm still waiting on a replacement rear Caliper Bracket from Wilwood/Solid Axle for my TJ (that is taking forever). So I'm not holding my breath that it will get here in time for me to get installed this week, so the MJ might get it's first "real" run at Hollister. I know, as is, with only 2" of lift, 3.07's open/open and All Terrain Tires (which are thin) I will only be able to hit the most basic stuff out there (No Tank Trap and the Jungle Trail or Bonanza Gulch are out of the question).
