I was OK with everything on there, and ready to call the guy until I saw the Green Windshield wipers... that's a total DEAL breaker for me! SW2

In my Area, Rent average about $3/Sq Foot, at least for smaller apartments... The playhouse is 8'x8' with a 3'x8' loft, so say 88 Square Ft, so say $275/month because it's in a nice neighborhood with a great yard..

Power may come over the winter... There are chairs and a play kitchen... They are only 3... they only get to watch me play XBOX still...

LOL, those things can get crazy expensive! We were looking at a similar priced set, then reality set in (i.e. would they use it, wear and tear, poor re-sale value) and we were looking at the mac'd out Wal-Mart set for @$1800. I had looked at some used sets that were beat down. Cheap, but beat. Then I got lucky and found one being sold on the quick because they were being transferred out west. They didn't want to break it down and move it, so I got that $1800 set for $500.......about 6 months old. So when it falls apart in 5 years I won't be pissed about what I spent on it like I was last week when my wife left the $400 jump castle in the back yard over night and my 18 mos old black lab had a snack with it. Had it for 4 years, best money I ever spent for the kids, and.... poof!!, gone. Here is my Engine/Tranny... I mean kids playhouse... This was first assembled, we've since added insulation, white paneling across everything, painted a Chalkboard Wall and Put down Foam Squares on the floor and carpet in the loft, flowers in flowerbeds, Curtains, etc... I still would like to do some trim on the insides, etc... Talk about your "Money Pits"

I read that too, but couldn't find it on their website

HESCO was over $3500 as far as I could tell... from some one that doesn't have the "skills" to do the work myself, I was considering this as an alternative... I could skip the stroker and go with a standard crate of some type, but at some point, the difference between $1200-1500 and $2500 in the big "long term" picture gets muddled... And cheaper than the $12000-$15000 for a HEMI... It's only money... you can't take it with you, so might at well enjoy it while we are here... If I hadn't blown so much on our backyard/playhouse thing for my kids this past spring, my bonus at work would have been more than enough to cover a stroker, new tranny and full install... Dang little rug rats cost so darn much...they don't even play in the stupid $5000 playhouse...

Yah, but a V8 is far from "bolt-in" for a relative "newbie" to the mechanical world... I was thinking a nice "new" Stroker with a new/rebuilt AW4 would be awful nice (bash me all you want, but I'll take an Auto every day of the week over my current AX15).

I got no cash, we are in a recession man, did you see the stock market yesterday??? But it doesn't cost much to talk about stuff... I got some quotes for the HESCO a while back and they were quite a bit higher and I know that Titan makes one, possibly for less $$$ but havn't really heard of anything doing anything other than "homebrew", or HESCO...

Better than 3.07, not as good as 3.73/4.10/4.54...Depends on your tire size and if you are roading it or not... My MJ has 3.07's and it would suck balls for offroading, but probably better on road. My TJ has 3.07's and when I went to 33" tires it was basically undriveable (felt like I was at 1/2 power). I have 4.56's now and it's a little too low for 33's (with my 3sp Auto), but will be better when I move to 35's. Does/Did the DMC have a Flux Capacitor? There is a local club that goes thru the local parade every year

I just beat the crap out of my ARB's today and they amaze me every time I flip the switch and they come up... It's all about the install not matter what you do... Install the Airlines smartly, you'll likely never have an issue. I thought the OX levers were UGLY as all get out and didn't want to mess with running that cable... If my ARB Line tears, I take 5 minutes splice and partch it... your OX cable gets pinched or torn, your SOL unless you have another to run... Just my $.02's... Back to the question... I'd go Rear myself first as well if I were doing one side...

Ever heard of Trades? /I'm just sayin' i was just thinking this morning #2 that nobody had attempted any trades yet and i'm a little thin at WR, so Mr. Cutler may be going on the block for a decent QB and an upper tier WR. Anyone? Anyone? I attempted one with one team before the season, but didn't even get a deny notice...don't know that they even saw it... Oh well...

Umm... is it just me, or are there other pics other than the 1 of the underside... We are making a bunch of assumptions from 1 pic of the underside of a truck??? FWIW, my 89 was $2K... The body was pretty nice (no Rust, California Truck), but the engine and tranny are pretty tired (205K). I would have probably passed except that mine has a D44... It was still $500 or so more than I really wanted to pay for it, but finding them in my area is pretty tough I've spent a "few" bucks on small upgrades, but nothing super major... a few trips to the PnP, a few parts and pieces from dudes on here and a little elbow grease.... -

Cost? and Pics of the Body? -
Drunk posting - just like drunk dialing, can be dangerous. I just tend to order crap when I'm drunk...most of the big stuff now on my TJ (Rear Axle, Lockers, Lift, etc) was all ordered "under the influence"...I need to get liquered up so I can get those Walker Evan Beadlocks and 35" tires that I've been lusting over...

Yah, I used a short socket extension on mine (that pic was lifted off another forum, but was the same basic idea of what I did) -

Front rotor removal question
SuperWade2 replied to robfg67's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I had all of mine out, but I wanted the whole thing (Hub/Rotor/Axle Shafts, etc) to come off to bare knuckle...
