YOU "F" WITH THE BULL YOU GET THE HORNS!!!! We added about 800 votes last night... I see Lil' Sis has some more from today... I'm pretty sure I could get another 800-1000 any given day with a couple hours to kill... I installed the Opera Browser, so I had 4 Pc's rolling with 3 Browsers for about 12 votes per Min... I wanted to get Steph up to over 1000 votes lead last night, but wasn't feeling the best and crashed a little early... If I get a chance this evening after the rugrats pass out, I'll fire up the voting machine... maybe if we double up little sis' vote count they will REALLY wave the White Flag and realize that resistance is futile... "Three weeks from now, I will be harvesting my crops. Imagine where you will be and it will be so. Along the line, stay with me. If you find yourself alone, riding in green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled for you are in Allysium and you are already dead. What we do in life echoes in eternity."

Since we are talking about stuck lugs, I thought I would toss this out there.. this is one on my Parts XJ... it was completly rounded whenI started.. I tried to hammer a socket onto it and Use my Air Hammer... didn't budge... I split a Craftsman Socket all the way down the side (which I probably shouldn't have been using)... I got pissed and pulled out the Air Chisel... Don't think I helped matters at all... BTW, I'm not at all worried about the stud, I just want the wheels off with minimal damage.....

Bucket Seat "Skins" - Can you Wash em?
SuperWade2 replied to SuperWade2's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Well in taking the Foam off the back of the Drivers Seat (So I could hit the frame with some paint), I found that one of the Side Lumbar thingy's was busted off inside the foam... It's really thin cheap metal (and I don't have any kind of welding equipment, so I'll need to rig something up before I can put it all back together...) Maybe some JBWeld? SW2 -

x2 on the Vinyl.. A Blue Scotch-Brite No Scratch Scrub Sponge + Simple Green on the Vinyl works wonders... Cleaned off 15 years of yuckee's very nicely. I have some 303 Protectant that will go all over the vinyl before they go into the MJ (I'm hoping this weekend). On the Drivers Side, I'm actually soaking both sections in some really good stain soaker stuff my wife has for a couple hours and then I'll toss in the washer...They might need 2 cycle's, but we will just have too see. I need to do a couple vinyl repairs on the back and side of the drivers side seat at well. Not horrible, but while everything is off, I'd like to get it patched. One last recommendation that I would make... I had mine hanging out in the sun to dry all day... It was warm here today 85ish and all SUN... so they were warm and it made the Vinyl a little more "flexy" and I think easier to get back over the cushions... -

JKS swaybar disco problem.
SuperWade2 replied to james750's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Got the SAME problem with less than 2" of lift...I got mine on, but not sure they are getting disconnected without removing the pin... Unless I'm remebering it wrong (and I'm not under the truck now), it's not even close to the draglink end at all, it's the lower TracBar mounting bracket on the axle that will be in the same place no matter what steering is on there. I'm sure someone else would snatch up those properties and keep em going...

The only thing Bud that I will touch is the If I'm drinking "real" beer, I prefer Non-Bud Products... now if New Belgium Brewery (Fat Tire, et al) sold out to "Old Belgium" like Bud, I don't know what I would do with myself...

You ever have the need to Haul ANYTHING, I mean just a little bit... If the answer is YES, then I'd really think twice... I have a 99 TJ, and the fact that I doesn't carry basically anything (and only gets 10MPG), are some of the main reasons for me looking for and getting my MJ... Don't get me wrong, I love my TJ (when it's not laying down on the side), and I've put a ton of money in it, and if I had to decide between my MJ and my TJ, it would be an easy pic (TJ, just because I've put so much into it)... But just consider what your going to use it for (Daily Driving, Hard Wheeling, Future Hardcore Mods, etc, etc). SW2

Bucket Seat "Skins" - Can you Wash em?
SuperWade2 replied to SuperWade2's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Well the Passenger side came out of the washer and looks OK... It was much cleaner to start with than the Drivers Side already. I probably won't do the other seat until I have this one all put back together (just so I can see how everything fits together). It's in no "worse" shape than it was before it went into the wash...I didn't put em in the Dryer and will just hang em for a day or so before I try to pull em back over the foam and frame. I hit the seat frame with some Krylon Rust Prohibiting Enamel stuff since everything was off. -

How do you get the head-rest off? I have been wanting to clean mine but couldn't get them off. I pulled the rest of the skin up to the head rest and just kept yanking... I figured worst case scenario I busted it off, but it seemed to pop off... Sw2 -
You are dead to me... SW2 Sorry bro,, but I just can't stop thinking about the ipod, iphone, itunes, and their ability to give me an edge when it comes to running 3D modeling programs.. I like the ergonomics... I just feel like the Macs are more suited to me,, = I've heard bad things about vista.. :dunno: Meh...that's what Apple wants you to think...it's a conspiracy... I have an iPod, but I don't think I would rock an iPhone if you gave it to me (I'm am Blackberry Fanboy)... I'm just bustin chops...Apple has it's place in the "artsy fartsy" world, but in my real life job of supporting PC's in a large business (about 40,000 employees world wide), it's a joke...literally...
